Our Cesta Cyclones picked up a huge comeback win yesterday, but Billy has some criticism of the Cyclones' management to kick off the show. Jess is still trying to watch every Best Picture nominee before Sunday's Oscars, but Greg thinks there are too many nominees. He also believes he could be an actor in a Best Picture nominee with one month of practice. Could he hit a 100 mph fastball? Probably not. Could he take a carry in an NFL game? He'd probably lose three yards. But could he be as good as Walton Goggins? Maybe! Then, the Miami Heat are playing as badly as we've seen them, and our show is over them. Mike Ryan is ready to take another victory lap about Terry Rozier, but is it worth talking about? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
What are the criticisms of the Cesta Cyclones management?
It's happened a lot.
Yeah, quite frequently.
Usually from the same source.
One particular person won't shut up about it.
It's the first time I'm hearing criticism of Cyclones management. And Billy, you mentioned, well, who's in charge over there? And it's Chris Cody's face that's on the giant billboard that suggests he's the owner of the Cyclones. Although Mike kind of acts like the owner of the Cyclones. You're back to stirring some shit, huh? He was dressed in peach.
This is what he does. He tells partial stories, and then the audience is like, whoa, that's crazy behavior. There's context missing, important context. So feel free to offer it. So Mike came in, and he said something like, it's a good time to be a cyclone. And I said, yeah, I guess they played yesterday. You can go to Friday games, or you can bet on Tuesday games. It's a whole Monday game.
You always leave Cyclones games with money. Every time I've been to a Cyclone game on a Friday, I leave with actual American cash in my hand. It's the wildest thing. Can't sell it better than that. I don't exactly understand the grift.
And it's like 80 bucks, too.
Dude, it's like real money.
