Contributor Visibility
When you contribute to public workspaces on Audioscrape:
- Your username will be displayed as the contributor
- Your contribution history may be visible to other users

Private workspaces and their contents are only visible to you and users you explicitly share them with.

- Erasure: Close your account yourself under Account › Close account — your recordings, transcripts, sign-in and keys are deleted at once — or ask us to do it

Cookies and Tracking

Emails we send about your account and workspace (such as transcripts being ready, usage notices, and product updates) contain a small image that tells us whether the email was opened, and links that record when they are clicked. We use this to understand which messages are useful and to stop sending the ones that are not. Sign-in links and security notices do not carry this measurement. Blocking remote images in your email client prevents open measurement.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy. When we no longer need your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
When you close your account, your recordings, transcripts, sign-in details, keys and connected apps are deleted immediately. Invoices and payment records are kept for the period tax law requires. De-identified usage records (which features were used, when, and how they performed) are retained without your name, email address or any other identifier. Deleted data leaves our backups as they rotate, within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
