And he thinks ICE will leave the security line to Transportation Security Administration workers.

The union that represents TSA officers blasted the ICE deployment.

Homan said ICE agents will continue their immigration enforcement mission while at airports.

But in a statement, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens said ICE agents will take orders from TSA, and the federal agents at Atlanta's airport are, quote, not intended to conduct immigration enforcement activities.

How much of a plan does it mean to guard an exit to make sure no one comes through that exit?

We're talking about security options, and these officers are well-trained in security, and they're well-trained in identification, and we're going to do what we can to help TSA move those people to the line.

I truly believe this isn't really a policy issue.

I mean, we have the same policies in place we had during Obama and Biden and Clinton and Bush one and Bush two.
