Full Episode
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You know how I feel today? I feel like that one time in our group chat with Evan and Cole Brown at likely, you know, 8 a.m. in the morning, Eastern Standard, you guys were making fun of some girl's manicure. Don't say making fun. You were criticizing.
I was making an observation, I would think. Probably.
And Evan says, damn, not even a top coat? And that's how I feel. There's no top coat here. I'm raw and I'm uncut and I need a file down. Cuticle's a mess, I already know. It's so bad. And usually I know that I'm down bad when I am like K-holing through episodes of We Can Do Hard Things. Only to come out on the other end and realize like I can't do hard things. I'm actually not equipped.
Like only these white girls can do it and not me. It's so, it's dire.
What's gotten you down?
How long do you have?
Well, I think we have usually about 45 to 55 minutes.
A tight 45 on a good day. But okay, on the bright side though, I will say it does, it makes me too aware of how I'm feeling. But I... I love watching white women watching, listening. I don't think they do video, but I love listening to these white women talk about divorce and internal family structures. And like there's something that really is so it's not suffering because it is it's the work.
It's real work that's happening. But it feels so good to my spirit to know that these white women will carry me on their back and take me home.
