Chapter 1: What allegations are being made against Diddy?
The following episode explores a number of allegations regarding the artist Diddy. He denies all charges and has pled not guilty to sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The biggest secret in the entertainment industry that really wasn't a secret at all has finally been revealed to the world.
At the height of his career, Sean Diddy Combs had it all. It seemed like everything Diddy touched turned to gold. Now the once untouchable hip-hop mogul is fighting for his life as he faces multiple federal charges in New York, including sex trafficking and allegedly running a criminal enterprise.
Music mogul and rapper Sean Diddy Combs has faced four different lawsuits in recent weeks alleging sexual assault. I'm DailyMail.com journalist Marjorie Hernandez. And over the last six months, I've been investigating this incredible story and speaking to the people in the eye of the storm.
Chapter 2: What can we learn from the documentary 'The Fall of Diddy'?
Welcome to the Trial of Diddy.
If you like this episode, we think you'll love this. I'm David Patrick-Aricos, and on this week's episode of Apocalypse Now, as Donald Trump heads to Doha, we discuss Qatar, a small state at the center of a world increasingly ridden with faction and conflict. Listen to Apocalypse Now wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, I'm Kayla Brantley, reporter at large for the Daily Mail in Manhattan.
And I'm Marjorie Hernandez, DailyMail.com's West Coast news editor.
And welcome back to episode 20-0 of The Trial of Diddy. I cannot believe we are five months into this story and it just does not let up. Just this week, we've seen the release of Investigation Discovery's The Fall of Diddy documentary, and there were some major allegations in there. including actor Kat Passione claiming she had a non-consensual sexual encounter with Combs in 2021.
That's right. And there's also an interview with Thalia Graves, who back in September 2024 filed a lawsuit which alleged that Sean Combs drug bound and violently raped her.

Chapter 3: Who are the key witnesses in the Diddy case?
at a bad boy studios back in 1999 she went on to claim did he distributed a video of the attack even quote selling it as pornography marge ever since this came out i know you've been watching it non-stop so as someone who studied this case and talked to so many people connected to it what did you think Yes, Kayla, the documentary was very interesting.
And two of the interviews that stood out to me was one with Phil Pines, who was Combs' personal assistant. And he also has sued Diddy for sexual battery, sexual harassment, and he had other claims as well. And the other was model and actress Kat Passione, who had a relationship shortly after Kim Porter's death back in 2018. And she claimed that Diddy also sexually assaulted her.
Now, according to Kat, Diddy forced himself onto her while he was under the influence of what she said was a recreational drug called Tusi, which was actually mentioned in Combs' indictment. Now, Tusi is also known as pink cocaine, which is obviously a type of psychedelic. Kat was very emotional, but she didn't get into specific details of what Diddy allegedly did to her.
But she said it was, quote, wasn't consensual. She also claimed that after that incident, weeks later, Diddy threatened her to get deported to Canada, where she's from. And so she also detailed these experiences in her journal and called Diddy, quote, a demon. And the other one that I thought that was interesting was Phil Pines.
Chapter 4: What evidence has been presented against Diddy?
In his interview, he also got very emotional and he broke down in tears. Now he was Combs' senior executive assistant from 2019 to 2021. And he actually had a cache of evidence, mostly voice recordings and text messages from Diddy and his former chief of staff, Christina Karam.
And in these text messages, Karam and Diddy would tell Pines what Diddy would need for his, quote, wild king knights parties. So that's what he would call those those big parties. But Pines said he didn't know them as freak offs, which is what the federal prosecutors had called them.
A lot of these allegations, like the two things that you said just really stood out for you. It sounds like everything that we've already heard before. So was there anything in this documentary that while it's new information, was there anything that was shocking that, you know, maybe seemed kind of left field?
Again, like you mentioned, these are details that we've heard before, but I think seeing it straight from the alleged victim's experience, that was very interesting to see how emotional they got.
And also the text messages from Phil, that was actual evidence, alleged evidence that Christina Karam was there telling him to do these things, get these drugs for Diddy, get prepared for this big King Wild Night parties, which again- have been described as, quote unquote, freak offs.
But just seeing it described and obviously the pain that these alleged victims still feel years later, that was very evident. But again, these are all allegations and we'll see how it shakes out during the trial.
In the documentary, did Cat Passion say whether or not she was one of the Jane Does in the civil suits against Diddy?

Chapter 5: How does Diddy's past influence the current allegations?
You know, Kayla, I wasn't clear on that because she doesn't say that she is suing Diddy. So whether or not she is one of the Jane Does, not quite clear. But she does go into a lot of detail, just like other victims allege him forcing himself onto her and her being in fear. And she's still in fear for her life.
And Marjorie, watching this documentary, what was the feeling that you were left with? Like what was the overall view of Diddy that these documentary filmmakers kind of left you with?
Well, it definitely painted him in a bad light. It did go through his history of how he came up, which we explored in our earlier episodes. But towards the end, you know, they painted a picture of somebody who was power hungry, who held that power and influence over other people, and that he was unstoppable, and that they felt that they had to do what he wanted them to do
in order to stay in the industry or, frankly, be safe because they are in fear of their lives. Again, these are all allegations. We don't know yet whether or not some of these folks will be called as witnesses doing his criminal trial. But it is interesting to note that they've shown a pattern. And at least Kat and Mr. Pines, they actually have some evidence left. Phil, again, got very emotional.
One of the quotes that I found very shocking, I'm going to quote this now. He said, quote, we usually had a laundry list of items, including lights, alcohol, marijuana, ketamine, molly. You have mushrooms on the top there. Baby oil and astroglide are very important. Candles, incense, Apple TVs, electronics, computers, iPads. Obviously, there was, you know, male libido supplements, stuff like that.
So essentially, he was saying these are kind of the list of things that Diddy needed in these king night parties, which again, prosecutors call them as freak offs. And he also said he witnessed Diddy hit a female and he was forced to drive her back home. And one of the most shocking things was he described a time when Diddy actually allegedly told him to have sex with a woman while he watched.
And he got very emotional about that. Pine said Diddy told him that he had to have sex with this woman to, quote, prove his loyalty to Diddy. And he described that encounter as very traumatic for him and that he still has not recovered from that.
And if you're the prosecution watching this, you absolutely will want Pines taking the stand testifying against Diddy. Like these are such strong claims and such a strong testimony that I can only imagine that this is somebody that we'll be seeing in court.
Yeah, he actually did the ID interview, I think a few days before he testified to the grand jury. So there's a strong likelihood that he will be called to the stand.

Welcome back to The Trial of Diddy. Let's get into these brand new rulings from Judge Aaron Sabermanian. On Thursday, the trial judge, Judge Aaron Sabermanian, actually ruled to leave the protective order regarding the sex tapes and therefore denied Diddy's request for access.
If you guys remember, Diddy's lawyers were basically saying that these tapes would absolve him of any wrongdoing and show the world that this was, quote, private sexual activity between himself and Cassie Ventura.
And what was striking in that letter from Diddy's team is that they said, quote, any fair minded viewer of the videos will quickly conclude that the prosecution of Mr. Combs is both sexist and puritanical. And they said it's sexist because the government's theory perpetuates stereotypes of female victimhood and lack of agency. So that was a few weeks ago. Now we have a ruling from the judge.

Chapter 7: What shocking claims were made about Diddy’s parties?
He's completely denied Diddy's request. And I'll read part of that ruling. So it was a memorandum, a letter motion as to Sean Combs. And I'll just read a little part of it. It says, quote, defendant's motion to amend the protective order is denied without prejudice.
While the government objects to handing the videos over, they provide several options for defendant to consider that would permit the defense to view the videos, access the information they're looking for, and even allow them to manipulate the videos as they see fit. To the extent these options are insufficient, the defense may propose other options to the government.
It doesn't appear that the defense did this before raising the issue with the court. Also, the judge ruled that Diddy and his team can't share the contents of the videos or whatever they have access to with anyone. So these videos, the judge is saying they absolutely cannot be shared. Like, they're sex tapes. They should not be shared with anyone.
Of course, if they're not two consenting adults who want it to be shared, which I highly doubt Cassie Ventura wants these tapes out there. I will read part of the letter from the judge. It says, quote, the party should have these discussions. And then if they really reach an impasse, the defense can come back to the court.
If that happens, they should be prepared to clearly articulate why they need possession of the videos, despite the options furnished by the government. So the judge is giving them options. They're saying, look, if you can't come to an agreement, the defense can come back to the court and they can argue their case, articulate why they need possession of these videos.
But for now, the judge is not having it. So obviously, there's a lot of legal jargon in these memorandums. And I think next week would be great to have one of our legal friends come on and discuss what's going on here. It is pretty straightforward, but, you know, we always love to have one of our friends of the show on and give their legal expertise. So for now, that's it.
