Fri, 28 Feb 2025
This week, it’s finally time to take the elevator down to the testing floor. To break down all the revelations in Season 2 Episode 7, Ben and Adam are joined by Dichen Lachman, who plays Gemma / Ms. Casey. She shares what it was like filming in a brand new location with a new cast of characters, how she and Adam built out the relationship between Gemma and Mark, and the origin story of Ms. Casey’s iconic wig. Then, Ben sits down with Jessica Lee Gagné, Severance’s main cinematographer and director of the episode, to talk about why she chose this episode as her directorial debut. Plus: why you should never offer up your own house as a filming location. What are the challenges of working in the entertainment industry?
Thank you.
Judy, could you come and just do a touch up real quick? She just does it for you every day. Okay, we got one more hotline question for you.
Hi, my name's Grace. My question is, if your innie had a wellness session with Miss Casey, what facts would you want them to know about your outie?
Oh my gosh, if my innie, I had to process this, if my innie was having a session, but isn't my innie, I've got so many innies, right?
Yeah, what would you want one of your innies to know about you, Deidre?
All right. I guess like what I was allergic to. That would be important.
That's practical. That's sensible.
It's practical because in England, every time you go to a restaurant, they're like, any allergies?
You know, it's really, really funny that waiters love is if you're at a seafood restaurant and they ask that question, you say, I'm actually allergic to seafood. Or if it's a hamburger restaurant, you say you're allergic to hamburgers. They love it. Oh, my gosh. Thank you to Zoe. Thank you to Grace for calling in.
