Chapter 1: What is the focus of The Prosecutors' year in review?
We're just going with the times. What can we say?
Yeah. This is what happens when you're having a baby at the end of the year. You have to record way ahead of time, including through Christmas. So that's what we're doing. Anyways, so just you don't have to imagine. For you, this is actually happening in Christmas. So we're going to put on our Santa hats right now. And do this right. So Merry Christmas to everybody.
I hope you guys have had a great holiday season. And we look forward to the next year, which is going to be amazing. We're going to have a lot of awesome stuff for you guys. We're going to be doing some big cases. Some cases you guys have been asking for for a while. And we'll just see how it goes. If we survive next year or not. And hey, Crime Cons in September. It's in Denver.
If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, Code Prosecutors for 10% off. Do that. We'd love to see you. And who knows? Maybe we'll have some children in tow. You never know. Okay. With that, Alice, I think we should start with one of my favorite things that we do is our demographics. our listeners, where you guys come from. I know a lot of y'all really enjoy this.
We try and give you an update on this every now and then. So we'll start with countries. I think the first one is obvious. The United States is number one with about 80% of our listeners, but That means one in five of you are from somewhere else around the world, which is awesome. And I want to encourage you all to send us cases from your countries. We love doing cases from other countries.
It's a lot of fun and we don't do enough of it. So please do that. And maybe you can start with our number two country. Alice, any guesses? Number two.
The UK.
The UK.
All right.

Chapter 3: How do listener demographics influence the podcast?
Yeah.
But that's all. I just wanted to say hi and express my love for you guys and the thanks for all the time that you give us. So that was all I had.
Thank you. Thank you. You reminded me actually of something else that we came up with this year, the hat of hate. Oh yeah.
That was this year. We need to do some more of those.
Yeah, we do. We, we, we are very bad at staying on things, but send them my way and we'll jazz them up for you guys. Thank you, Sophie.
See you. Okay, so we've got a bunch of questions that you guys have been sending in, the five-star questions. And we thought this was a good time to maybe catch up on a few and answer some of them. I thought this one was interesting. This is from Jen. And she, I assume it's a she, it could be a guy.
They want to know what we think about the difference between the Idaho case and the Delphi case, both their incarceration and sort of the way those cases have progressed and everything else. In both cases, you kind of have small towns handling a really big case. And what do we think about the difference? I think that's a pretty fascinating question, actually.
I would say I think one of the differences is the perpetrators, the accused. Now, Brian Koberger, innocent or guilty, has never seemed bothered by the whole fact that he is being accused of a quadruple murder. He does not seem to be having any mental health issues. He seems perfectly fine, whereas it seems like Richard Allen very quickly said,
began to devolve which i think is one of the reasons in that case you see so many confessions i mean he he just whatever mental walls he had built up assuming he's guilty over the period where he was free came crashing down once he was arrested so i think that's one of the issues is just the difference between the two of them is pretty stark
