Chapter 1: What was the experience of the book launch?
so I kind of have to make sure like because sometimes I wouldn't be honest I want to do that whole balayage thing which means you're just a lazy bitch and don't want to get your hair done and I can't really do that anymore I sometimes when I wash my hair and the and I because I usually kind of spray the greys when I'm not in getting the colour done and you get out of the shower and it's very much oh hello I am a 42 year old woman because sometimes I forget the grey that's what I think grey ages you and I'm not ready
You know, karma. I always believe in karma. I just do. I had an incident when I was flying back to Dublin and I was running down the stairs. I thought my flight was the earlier flight. I actually genuinely thought that. And I was running down the stairs and this woman was there and she basically let me on the earlier flight.
But just before I'd helped this man who couldn't push his trolley and I thought I was actually going to miss my own flight. But it turned out I actually was too early for the flight that I was on. And then she let me on. It was the very last seat. And I felt that I got that because I'd helped the man with his bag.
But then I was going into this because I was meant to fly to Dublin on Friday and my flight got cancelled and I couldn't get one till 10 o'clock at night. And then they were like crazy money to go on Saturday. So I nearly had to take to the bed. I was so sad because I was taking the kids back to see my mom. I was really upset. But it was like 1800 quid from Luton one way the next morning.
And I was like, I'm just, I'm not doing it. So I decided not to take the kids. Mother of God. I know. 1800 pounds. Yeah. Six o'clock on Friday night, I got a call. Lorraine wanted me to interview all the judges of Britain's Got Talent. And I got to, yeah, all of them. And he reminded me of that because we were talking about ageing disgracefully and Amanda Holden looked amazing. Yeah.
Yeah, she has done a deal with the devil. That is so funny. You know, because I know that you do bits and bobs on Lorraine and there's a lot of drama with Lorraine at the moment. For our foreign listeners, Lorraine is a daytime TV presenter that does bits and bobs on the TV show.
But did you see that she did an interview recently where she talked about the two people, the two weirdest celebrity, or the two most difficult celebrity interviews she's done? Who did she say? Well, she said the first one was Mariah Carey. But she said it wasn't that she was difficult or mean. She said she was, in inverted commas, refreshed. So it was hard to keep her on topic.
And I don't know what Lorraine means by refreshed.
Drunk? Yeah, she was.

Chapter 2: What advice did Vogue receive from Joanne?
Is that what she said?
She was drunk. That's a great way of saying it.
Isn't it? I know. I was like, I'll add that to the doc. She said she was refreshed. Sorry. Yeah. Who was the other one? And the other one then, she said, was Lady Gaga, who after waiting for her for hours and hours and hours, didn't actually turn up.
Oh, and I heard Lady Gaga, I heard, like I know her, I heard Lady Gaga's meant to be really nice and just normal and sound. So she would have had good reason, I think.
I met Amanda, Alicia Dixon, Jesus Christ, she is just so, but they're both so sane when they came in because obviously like I'm interviewing them and they're like big UK stars and I was like, oh God, I'd never met Simon Cowell before. Did you meet Simon Cowell?
Simon Cowell.
he was really nice really nice very friendly to everyone when he walked in really nice interesting topic about Simon Cowell he has not had a phone in years he has no phone because I asked him I was like who's the most who's the most obvious to ignore a text I asked out of all four of them and they were like Simon and they were like wait actually Simon doesn't have a phone he doesn't have a phone and he's like it's the best thing I ever did by not having a phone that's why he's so successful and rich
I was thinking, so we should put our phones in the toilet.
Well, there's a thing that keeps being served to me on Instagram called the brick, which is this contraption where, yes, it locks your phone, basically, which I'm absolutely going to order because, my God, do I need that thing. I am hooked on it. And it's, I really resent it, but I can't stop it.
