Uncle Si hosts a revolving door of interesting guests, from YouTube stars JStu to the San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Colton McKivitz. Si seems a little jealous of JStu’s team of builders who create their amazing builds, from backyard roller coasters to full-on spaceship movie sets. Colton and his dad, Mike, came to Louisiana just to meet the Robertsons for a special reason, and Si must admit that his own gridiron tall tales don’t measure up to Colton’s phenomenal career. Chapter 1: What special guests are featured in this episode?
You weren't here. You were busy working at the Honey Hole. And we had some special guests stop by. So first up for you guys today, we have the guys from over at J Stew. J Stew? But what they are not ashamed of is their faith in our Lord and Savior. And so it was really cool to sit down with them as they have a brand new devotional book out this holiday season for your kids.
So if your kids are JSTU fans, they have a devotional book for them. It is a really cool book. I've read it. It was super fun to sit down and talk to those guys, how they started. Very humble beginnings and where they are now and what they would like to do in the future. So stick around for that. And once those guys check out, we also have our friend Colton McKivitt, the starting right guard.
You just had all sorts of friends. I do. It was just a weird week, man. He plays for the 49ers? He's starting right tackle for the San Francisco 49ers. Oh, yeah. Yeah, little... I mean, he was a big human from West Virginia slash Ohio. But he... you know, through his personal journey, found unashamed and then found the duck call room and, um, came down for Jace to actually baptize him.
So while he was here, we were like, buddy, we need to sit and talk about that if you don't mind. And so Colton and his father sat in with us to talk about their journey from, from nowhere, Ohio slash West Virginia, all the way to the NFL. So hope you guys enjoy this very special edition of the duck call room. And we'll check in with you at the end.
Welcome back to the Duck Call Room, ladies and gentlemen. We have two special guests in this room. You know, if you see me on this side of the room, that something different has happened. But we have Justin and Andrew from the JSTU YouTube channel in the Duck Call Room with us. And I just think there couldn't be a better fit for this podcast than you guys.
Because we've got a man who believes in joy and laughter more than anybody I know. And y'all's slogan is laugh daily, right? I mean, that's part of what y'all believe in. You're wearing shirts that say joyful heart. So if this ain't a match made in heaven right here, right here, then I'm obviously missing something. No, welcome, guys.
Double that for me. Okay, because I've always said, okay, look, we're going to have some fun. No, that's out. I said, well, guess what? I won't be there. I like that. I ain't coming. If I can't smile, have a good time, scream if I feel like screaming. We need you as our spokesman. I'm serious. Life is too short.
Not only that, if you believe in the creator and you've got a relationship with him, if you ain't happy, You need to have brain surgery.
Put that one on a t-shirt. Something's wrong, okay? Yeah.

Chapter 2: How did JStu start their YouTube journey?
You know, I'd say, well, you know, and he'd say, hey, tell them one about this. You know, I'd tell it. So that book was my life and stories. And it was a fun and funny read. Okay. And it was fun. Yeah. No, I think I had that book. It was fun to read and it was easy to read. Yeah.
I mean, at the end of the day, like you said, like, don't be deceived by just the, the colorful, playful, uh, cover. Although a lot of like what you said.
Oh no, there's a lot of life stories in here. Okay. That are helpful. To live, okay, because we're not of this world. That's right. Okay, but we got to live in this sucker.
yeah and so like that's a job the stories that we tell are simple for for kids to understand but like think of the message of the gospel like we have a deep as christians a deep uh obviously understanding of like certain things that maybe new believers don't understand but we wanted to be able to express uh biblical truths through stories kind of like how jesus did and uh
Chapter 3: What is the significance of JStu's new devotional book?
It's for kids, but it's also for adults. That's what I'm saying. Don't be deceived by the colorful cover.
Yeah.
That's how I tell it.
Yeah. No, no.
All stories. Yeah.
All the parables. Yeah. And I understand why he done it because, hey, we're so stupid, okay? We can't understand simple stuff. So that's why he went super simple. Let me explain this for you. Even the unbelievers still didn't understand. Like, please explain this to me.
I don't get it.
Well, no, no, because, hey, the 12 that was with him, they didn't understand a lot. And then poor Peter, you know, me and him had a lot in common. Because I always stick my foot in my mouth a lot, too.
Oh, yeah, there you go. Yeah, I can see that.

Chapter 4: What are the craziest builds JStu has created?
Okay. Now, being from Colorado, do y'all know what lives around stuff that you put in the ocean like that? We're not around the ocean that much. That's what I'm saying. Like when we go, when we go fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, we go to oil rigs to catch tuna and everything. But the problem is you catch them. Then here comes a tax man, right? Yeah. That's what we call the shark.
Yeah.
Like all the big sharks. So y'all were basically like dangling food.
We literally did a dangle.
They dangle us down on this little swing. Yeah, no.
It was sketch.
Yeah, no. Ignorance is bliss.
Hey, there you go.
There you go.

Chapter 5: How do JStu's videos promote positivity?
Chapter 6: How has parenthood changed JStu's approach to content?
No, that's not you got in your hand.
It's AI, you know.
Artificial intelligence? No, that don't work for me.
Well, I was hoping to get some answers when we were coming in for the podcast because I'm like, Andrew, it'd be super cool if we brought Uncle Si like his favorite food. But I'm like, I don't know what it is. So I'm like, okay, chat GPT. I'm going to ask it. What is Uncle Si's favorite food?
food and that would probably be a filet mignon steak cooked okay medium plus oh boy and look i drive the chefs insane with that they said that's not a a uh you know steak y'all not saying hey i wasn't eating nothing you cook you don't know what medium plus is you're an idiot medium No, no. Hey, this was from New York in one of the finest restaurants.
The chef there said, hey, there's no such thing as being plush. I said, you just don't know. I said, you're an idiot. Yeah, I said, you're an idiot. Get out of here. I ain't eating nothing you cook. Go. Fired. Go. Bye.
Yeah. All right. Well, do you want to hear what ChatGPT said? What? Uncle Cy Robertson from Duck Dynasty is known for his quirky and humorous personality, often making jokes about his love for sweet tea and various southern foods.
While he hasn't officially declared a favorite fast food chain, he's mentioned enjoying classic southern comfort foods, so it's likely that he might appreciate places like Chick-fil-A or KFC for their chicken dishes. However... For a definitive answer, there isn't an official statement from him about a specific favorite fast food restaurant.
I need to update one thing. It's not sweet tea. It's unsweet. Unsweet. Okay. Kick the sugar out, you idiot.

Chapter 7: What adventures do JStu plan for the future?
That's right. Tell Uncle Cy he's got quite the challenge there. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. And history has given us plenty of legendary beauties. From Cleopatra and Helen of Troy in ancient times to icons like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn in more recent years, people have celebrated all kinds of beauty. It really depends on his type.
Does he lean toward classic Hollywood?
Chapter 8: How does AI influence the podcast discussion?
You don't know the answer.
They're asking you questions to get more dialed in.
You don't know the answer. You don't know the answer, dummy. Just say it. I don't know.
I'm mildly concerned that chat GPT thinks Marilyn Monroe is recent times. that's a good point i mean i guess if you go back to cleopatra yeah like if that's your time scale but like i mean it seems like there's been a lot of options since then i got a question for it for hey he should have said hey look just go out there and take your pick there's a bunch of them
I'm with Uncle Sy from Duck Dynasty. What is the- You're welcome.
Oh.
No, no, no, no.
Oh, wow.
You're welcome.
