Chapter 1: How does Doge challenge USAID and what are the implications?

61:42 - 61:45 David Sacks

But when it comes to strategic assets, I think this could be a good vehicle for

0

61:46 - 61:54 Jason Calacanis

When the Silk Road got shut down, yeah, we seized 144,000 Bitcoin. And that's sitting somewhere in some Department of Justice account.

0

61:54 - 61:57 David Sacks

It got sold off. Yeah, I think they sold that off. They sold it?

0

61:58 - 62:05 Jason Calacanis

Yeah. No, I think we still have it. I think that was the idea, was that it was going to become the Bitcoin Street Reserve. I mean, you could also come up with new taxes to fund this.

0

00:00 - 00:00 David Sacks

But the DOJ sells these. So who do you think of the DOJ as making the Bitcoin market decisions? And is that the right person to be monetizing these assets?

00:00 - 00:00 Antonio Gracias

I mean... David made an interesting point about Social Security I just want to follow up on, which is when you think about Social Security, it's $6 trillion of our $36 trillion debt, and it's actually a fake Treasury bill. One of the things we figured out in the early days before the inauguration, that $6 trillion sits on the ledger. It's just a paper ledger over.

00:00 - 00:00 Antonio Gracias

So actually, if it gets paid out, it's also going to be very inflationary. It's just a fake Treasury I ledgered over that pays a very low rate. And here at Valor, one of my partners, John Shulkin, has been reading to try to help. The only thing we find is audit in the government. The Social Security Administration actually has an audit. It has an audit.

00:00 - 00:00 Antonio Gracias

And when you go through the audit, it's crazy the material weaknesses, going back to Doge, that you find. Yeah, it'd be way better to have that invested in a way that was economic for people with real money.

00:00 - 00:00 Chamath Palihapitiya

By the way, guys, as we were speaking, guys, as we were speaking, the federal judge just put a temporary restraining order on Doge and has barred Elon and his team from accessing US treasury payments data.

Chapter 2: How did the Twitter takeover influence government efficiency strategies?

94:40 - 94:46 David Sacks

What a thirst trap. Now you guys are going to find photos of Antonio and I. We're going to throw them all up.

0

94:46 - 95:05 Jason Calacanis

I have four pieces of advice for people. Number one, get good sleep. Number two, exercise. Number three, diet. Number four, meditation. And if you want to do that, it's very simple. You get the calm meditation app. You get the eight sleep sleep. You get the FitBod for fitness. And then you get NutriSense for your diet.

95:05 - 95:21 Unknown Speaker

Those are the four things you focus on. Make sure you have a good Athena. You get a good Athena assistant. All of this is brought to you by my NGO, which is All In NGO.

0

95:21 - 95:34 Jason Calacanis

USAID gave us $18 million last year. Guys, I forgot to tell you about it. But don't worry. It's in an offshore account for all of us. When we get back to Ethiopia and Vietnam, we have an All In castle built there. Okay? We built with our NGO.

0

00:00 - 00:00 Chamath Palihapitiya

So good.

00:00 - 00:00 Jason Calacanis

We'll see everybody next week.

00:00 - 00:00 Chamath Palihapitiya

Love you, boys. We love you.

00:00 - 00:00 Antonio Gracias

Good seeing you guys, man.

00:00 - 00:00 Jason Calacanis

Thank you. Great job, Antonio.
