What about you, Kai? You have to tell us. Well, I've been thinking about this so much lately because, you know, I have asked various non-speakers how they would define love. And it was so simple. Love is anything that unifies. And that is just so simple because we make so many decisions to divide. You're different than me. You're different than me. How are you different? And I'm more like this.

And none of that is loving. And that's based in fear. And they always say there's two choices we always have, love and fear. It's just love and fear. And I think another thing too is, to Libby's point, it's not just, I think, the ability for certain folks to hear our thoughts, but I think we all can feel each other's feelings. It does. It embodies love.

And I think about this all the time.

At one point when we were going through, how do you test telepathy? How do you test this? And a non-speaker said, why do you need instruments to test this when you're not looking for instruments to test love, which is the greatest superpower? Dita certainly didn't know this, but when we adopted Tucker, they told us he'd been in and out of the shelter once before, and he had two different chips in his body, meaning most likely two different families. So this tracks, and there's no way she could have known any of this.

When we were getting acquainted, she brought up her work as an animal communicator. But at that time, I just didn't think it was possible. And I think it's because of that old-fashioned notion in my mind that animals aren't capable of language. And at this point, it's as if my brain could only comprehend telepathy was possible with non-speakers. But Dita and I kept in contact.

And though that was true, I was feeling totally exposed because over the past four weeks, Kaisa and I started questioning whether Tucker liked us and wanted to be with us. And we started looking into finding him a new home that was slower paced with maybe an older caregiver that had a consistent and slower and calmer life.
