Hello, this is Peter Stewart and welcome to episode 71 of your Planet Reigate Podcast. This is how we're reflecting and celebrating our love of life around here this week. Well, a local rail route is closing for 16 days so that critical upgrades can be carried out. I'll give you more information about that.
Also, another vacant office building in Reigate is being turned into flats, and it's the last day of business for a local restaurant. Plus, the launch of a new support group just for women, which is happening in the area, and help and advice for parents of ADHD children. A local workshop is inviting you along.
In our new sequence, part two, a wassailing event is happening this weekend to bless local apple trees. It sounds an intriguing event and you're invited to go along as well. Top marks for a local car park. We'll tell you where it is. A local village pump is being renovated and I'll mention how you can go along and take a look and see it in all its splendour.
