The Dow was down 1.48 percent, the S&P 500 down 1.76 percent, Nasdaq down 2.64 percent, and it started crashing significantly when Donald Trump held a press conference talking about how

The United States has been a laughing stock for years and years. That's why this gentleman is built in Taiwan instead of building here. Would have been better if he built here if we had a president that knew what they were doing. And we had a lot of them very bad on trade.

I guess Donald Trump just thinks this is all one big game. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Federal Reserve is now projecting a GDP contraction of about negative 2.8% in the first quarter. It was expected to grow about two and a half, three percentage points, and now it's expected to contract. Many economists believe we are heading into a significant recession and perhaps something even worse right now.
