chris juju can you give me some help on something i'm bad at birthdays like i'm just bad at sort of receiving what all of that should be would be uh and i got a lot of texts yesterday and i've not answered a lot of texts and so i feel guilt about not answering a lot of texts but also The text feels like sort of the bare minimum you can do to acknowledge my birthday.
And on that day, I'd rather concentrate on doing something lovely with, say, my wife than having to answer a bunch of texts that were kind of sent halfheartedly because people felt like they had to.
Like you end up feeling in a spot. I'm guilty now just responding with thanks or liking the message when really they didn't give you much more in terms of a birthday wish.
They gave me a responsibility and the burden of answering them on a day I would like largely to myself. And so I feel all I feel bad about all of that for not receiving the love of that. But Juju, it feels like a bit of a bare minimum love. You did not buy me a gift. You just looked at a calendar basically and fired off. Happy birthday, Dan. And it was like bare minimum efficient effort.
Yeah, I'm an old school guy, and my friends hate it. Everybody probably hate it. I prefer calls.
Like, I hate text messages, bro, because it could be read a certain way, and their voice that they're putting on there versus the voice I said it in, versus... And so that birthday is tricky, because you're right, you get a hundred of those, and then I think you have a perfect platform to be able to just... Answer them all right now. On camera, live. You know what I mean?
Everybody who sent me the shout out, thank you so much. Thank you.
That's right. I can do it efficiently that way.
We'll put it out on social for you. You know what?
Thank you to all of you. So many heartfelt messages I got. Happy birthday, Dan. I was so moved by all of them. I did not think they were bare minimum efforts by you who felt the need to text me on a day so you wouldn't be forgotten. And I noticed that you'd put in an effort, but a bare minimum one. So thank you. Boom.
Thank you for your not heartfelt love sent efficiently just because you felt the duty to send it. And now the burden and responsibility I have and guilt of answering you. You did not give me a gift. You gave me a burden.
Your day just freed up, though. Kick, save and abuse.
Thank you. I appreciate all of the messages and all of the love. Juju, what else? What today did people people have a problem with?
Okay, a lot of the audience says that we're a bit heavy on the Luigi's.
Oh, that's fair criticism. Fair criticism.
Because Rose was sitting there. Salute to Rose. Rose is sitting there answering you. Say it again, Rose. Luigi Mangione. Say it again.
Yes. I am guilty often of playing something about 12 notes too long. Yes.
Tony just sitting there fuming.
Yes. Well, he was fuming.
Tony was mad as hell. See, I know Tony in real life. That was a mad Tony we saw.
That was low energy top five. That was like, oh, you guys want to go to Rose? All right. Oh, now you want my top five? Yes.
Look, look, look. I called Tony after that segment and I, I said to him, Tony, thank you. I know you were seething. I am promising you that the comedy duo of you and Rose is funny. That Rose, that I am, I am promising you, you did not see what was happening behind you. And so you do not know how much Rose was supporting what you were doing. She was not overshadowing you.
She was trying to support you. She was look, Rose was, on behalf of Metal Ark Media, tries her hardest all the time. She gets pepper sprayed, and she is trying to help there, but she made a mess of the proceedings and therefore stole Tony's segment.
Oh, yeah.
She just helped Tony make the segment perfect. That's all. They just needed a little bit of dash of Tony and a little scoop of Rose today. That's all it was. Speaking of Rose, right now, Levitaraf.com, Justice for Rose shirts are available right now. You feel me? And Angel, he got a lot of new designs. Check them out right now, Levitaraf.com.
For the holidays, if you want to wear something, if you like wearing a little bit of art that means something to maybe just you, can you explain Justice for Rose? She got pepper sprayed on behalf of the show while trying to do journalism and in so doing led the way to stardom because now we learn that she can sing and we learn that she made Tony's top five better even though Tony seethes about it.
What am I going to do about Tony's Cuban Santa sensitivities that he would get that mad about his segment being stolen? Thank you.
I think it was more so the mustache getting all in his mouth. It was a lot going on, so we're going to get my boy Mulligan on that one. He'll be back. You feel me? MMA Hangout did great this weekend. He got 100 bounce backs. You dig me?
Oh, my God. Okay, so you guys see things more clearly than I do because I thought that he was seething as part of a bit. No, he was seething.
Nope, it was a seethe. I thought it was a bit until I heard the way he delivered the first top five, and I was just like, oh, this dude's mad.
You guys all saw through that, though. I didn't see that. And furthermore, after that, Billy and Jessica and Lucy simply refused to go after him. And I'm like, are you kidding? That's where all the good stuff is. You think Tony being mad is any less funny than Greg Cody being mad?
Well, actually, a little less funny, but just a little. That number two was long as hell with Johnny Manziel with the 40 burgers.
What was that story? Oh, my dog. All right, it's Christmas Eve. You're in your house. It's like, all right, I like this. Where are we going? And three minutes later, he's like, someone got a 40 burger.
Salute, man. He got the goods, though. Also, moving on. Bro, some of us out here actually love the NBA Cup, for real, for real. Like, I think the NBA Cup is extremely awesome. I think it's fun. You get an extra 500 if you're a player in your bank account instantly. And I know that sometimes, like... We get it. We get bought out in the weeds.
We just got to remember to support our brothers and sisters. Amin was at the Cup. Let's give him some support.
Juju, the whole thing is something that bothers me. What's happening with the NBA where they're falling behind while trying to make the kinds of changes that the purists love. I don't hear a whole lot of people who love basketball, who are getting extra meaningful games where money's on the line, and a whole lot of people are checked out because there are too many threes.
Those games are like all the other regular season games. It feels to me like the purists are loving the games, and then a whole lot of other people are saying, ah, check in after load management during the postseason.
It doesn't seem like we're helping the conversation too much either. Right.
Right, exactly. I think that those people got to remember that I don't necessarily give a damn about FIU baseball, but I tune in. Whenever Chris there and Billy there, I tune in. I don't give a damn about camping out all weekend for Mickey Cabrera's 5,000th bunt, but hey, my brother loves it. I'm going to love it. You know what I mean? So we can't just keep poo-pooing stuff that we don't like.
It goes up to the top when it comes to the politics. Just because we don't like it, that don't mean we got to poo-poo it. Especially, look, if DraftKings like it, we love it, remember? You did during the contract year. Let's not poo-poo the Emirates Cup, especially when we show Pitbull Stadium a lot of attention. We show it, you know what I mean, and we don't give a damn. Sorry.
Well, Pitbull Stadium is funnier than the Emeritus Cup, where I didn't ask any of the difficult questions about the general sports washing all around Emeritus. Moving on to other things.
Other top... Masked Singer, Masked Singer, Forged by Fire, Below Deck. Oh, bro, I done gave a damn about a lot of stuff my boy give a damn about. So I just want the same energy return when it come to us, man. We love hoops, man. But I do got a solution for the casual fan. NBA, I think that it is a bit much to see them three-pointers getting marched all day game, bro.
Like, it gets a bit boring, especially for the casual fan. So I think we should make dunks on somebody, worth three points. You dig me? Follow me. If you are in the painted area and somebody dunks the ball, three points. Because guess what? That's going to make the high flyers get back to flying. And it's going to sometimes make the defenders get up in there.
It's going to cause for way more exciting posters, way more moments where you can see the cowardice of someone running out. I think it's make dunks great again, make them worth three points on somebody's head.
That is – I'm going to endorse that. I'm going to endorse changing all of – we've already changed the other – look, the three-pointers were too much. Let's change the rules just ever so slightly and make that worth three points, too, so somebody's got an incentive to go dunk. I like that.
But might we have defenders clearing out of the paint? Like, I've got to get out of here. I've got to make sure this is a two-pointer, not a three. But that would then make easier dunks because they're like, I want this to be worth two. I like where your head's at, Juju. I think we've just got to figure this out. Yeah, fine-tone it.
Yeah.
Yeah, thank you, bro.
It's the start of an idea. Let's workshop and see if we can come up with something that we'll take to the league and it'll be like the magic at bat. They'll steal it in 12 years. What else do you have?
Today, do you feel fancy when you say the name Zach Carbonet? And 82% of the audience says yes. They feel very fancy by saying that name. Also, do you shout free play? In your living room, whenever someone jumps off sites, 81% of the audience says yes. Who are those 19%?
Monsters. Monsters. Repressed people. Repressed monsters. At Levitard Show is where you vote on this stuff. Anything else, Juju, before we get out of here?
Yeah, for the first time in history last night, Skorogami made a mistake. Skorogami put out some stuff. I don't know if this was real or not. Maybe I got catfished. But I think Skorogami put out an update that 12-0 never had been scored. The community note has came around. I'm pretty sure I'm probably being...
What's 12-0? What's 12-0, though? There was a 15-9 game yesterday. That was Atlanta over the Raiders was 15-9. Was that the Scorigami?
Right. It's saying this information is incorrect. The Minnesota Vikings beat the Chicago Bears 30-12. And my thing is, if Scorigami now is making mistakes, like, what is this world I live in? I do not recognize the oxygen in this consciousness anymore if Scorigami is going to get it wrong. Because I trust them more than I trust, like, family. You feel me?
I did not know that. Put it on the poll, please, Juju, at Levitard Show for tomorrow. Do you trust Skorogami more than you trust family at Levitard Show? I like you updating the polls here, too. We've got to get back to updating some of the polls, just the special ones that people would want answers to. Thank you, Juju. I'll talk to you again tomorrow.
Yes, sir. Thank you all.
