Chapter 2: How did today's team come together unexpectedly?

51.809 - 71.637 David Samson

I've loved today. It felt strange. Thank you guys for a small group, small room. We've never all worked together. Just this, the five of us. So thank you for coming in, Roy. Thank you. We had some sickness. We had some issues. I appreciate that you came in. I believe you got the call at 640. I did. So thank you for that. Totally prepared to have the day off. Thank you.

0

71.657 - 75.418 Roy

Wait, Roy, you found out at 640 you had to come in today?

0

75.618 - 76.138 David Samson

Yeah.

77.639 - 85.622 Jeremy

How did you get here? Well, at first I had to take a shower. That was the first thing I had to do. And then I had to sprint over here. I'm so impressed by the fact that you were here before 945.

87.338 - 97.065 David Samson

So given the drive from Broward County, I'm thankful. And Jeremy and Jessica, thank you for having putting up with me for a full day like this. It was great. It's got to be your worst nightmare.

97.225 - 100.247 Roy

No, not at all. And so I learned so much about baseball contracts.

100.528 - 107.853 David Samson

I was going to text everyone at the end of the show. Billy, I'm whatever, Billy. Thank you. So I was going to text at the end of the show.

107.873 - 108.754 Roy

What did Billy do today?

Chapter 3: What behind-the-scenes controversy is being discussed?

108.774 - 116.405 Billy

I've been taking it. I walked in and someone said to me, you're a pessimist. I was like, oh, thanks. Good morning. She was. I'm Harmon.

0

116.605 - 130.631 David Samson

I found you today not to be obstructionist, Billy, but I didn't feel like I had you. Really? I felt like you were a little tired, a little blase. Really? A little disinterested. Oh, I don't think so. Maybe even uninterested. No, I don't. But I enjoy you anyway.

0

130.671 - 134.693 Billy

There's a, you know, there's behind the scenes controversy that's being sorted out.

0

134.793 - 137.994 Roy

Yeah, that's true. Billy's been dealing with a headache. Sadness.

0

138.575 - 139.435 Billy

Lots of sadness.

139.835 - 148.462 David Samson

I think that you gotta know that things that happen in the world of online polls and online voting, there's gonna be some bad stuff that happens.

148.522 - 156.108 Billy

Yeah, I learned don't trust the people that you wanted to do a solid for, ever. And I never again will trust you fans.

156.188 - 171.344 David Samson

Never say never. But fans, you- I love you all, but you're scoundrels. You know when you put fans, when people say, oh, the fans are gonna choose the nickname of the team. They do that in Utah. You know they're joking. Like it doesn't, the fans really don't get to choose that.

171.384 - 173.844 Jeremy

Yeah, because every time they choose Bodie McBoatface.

Chapter 4: How can emojis be perceived as cheating?

184.446 - 185.186 David Samson

Once your dad comes back.

0

185.206 - 189.167 Billy

You're going to, oof. This one was an adventure, this tournament.

0

189.567 - 213.637 David Samson

I want to end today by talking about an issue of cheating, since that's what we're talking about. And I think I'm guilty of it. It turns out that there are ways now that people cheat on text that I was not aware of. This is a new thing. If you use the wrong emoji at the wrong time, it can be considered by your significant other as cheating. And I'm a red heart sender.

0

214.858 - 232.486 David Samson

And apparently when you send a red heart, you are cheating on your significant other. What if you send a blue heart? Different. Apparently there's different colors. And purple heart means something. Please someone help me. Apparently there's different colors.

0

233.067 - 246.461 Roy

I'll start with saying this. Majority of emojis are sort of seen as blasé these days. The cool kids aren't sending them. In other words. So what are they doing? No emojis.

246.661 - 252.033 David Samson

They keep coming out with new emojis. They just came out with the bags under the eyes emoji.

252.053 - 255.094 Roy

That's what young people tell me. I'm not a young person. I don't know.

255.554 - 256.454 David Samson

Do you use emojis?

256.754 - 260.495 Roy

Occasionally, yeah. I like the one that's the see-through face. I send that one a lot.
