Chapter 1: Who are the hosts and guests on this episode?

1.573 - 9.1 Mike

Now's a good time to remember where tequila's story truly began. In 1795, Cuervo invented tequila. Cuervo. What are you doing here?

0

9.2 - 11.503 Chris Cote

Cuervo. Anytime someone says Cuervo, I show up.

0

29.099 - 29.6 Mike

Cuervo.

0

34.449 - 34.69 Mike

Cuervo.

0

35.965 - 41.951 Chris Cote

Shadow Show. Shadow Show. Shadow Show. Shadow Show. Shadow Show. Shadow Show.

42.051 - 43.072 Unknown

Shadow Show.

Chapter 2: What funny stories are shared about body parts and grooming?

43.172 - 60.906 Chris Cote

Shadowing it. Shadowing it. Greg Cody, we have missed you around here. You haven't been here for a couple of weeks after getting that flap, that awning removed from your belly button. Did you see what I just saw in the other room as Roy gets makeup?

0

61.507 - 84.979 Chris Cote

And I was told that our biggest makeup aficionados at Metal Arc Media are Mike Ryan and David Sampson, that they're the ones that most enjoy a good pampering and makeup. But I was shocked to see moments ago Mike Ryan getting his elbows lubricated by Jess. He was getting lotions put on his elbows that seemed extravagant to me.

0

86.285 - 97.93 Roy

I don't care what my elbows look like. I've never raised them and looked at them in the mirror. I think I've got handsome elbows, but who cares about what an elbow looks like?

0

97.99 - 100.891 Dan Le Batard

I mean, you're hiding them right now for someone who's so proud of their elbows.

0

100.971 - 107.274 Roy

I'm not proud, but I just have never wanted to take pride in that particular body part.

107.354 - 109.815 Chris Cote

All right, so you're saying you've never seen your elbows?

109.875 - 110.815 Roy

I don't know what they look like.

111.475 - 113.096 Dan Le Batard

What body part do you take pride in?

113.856 - 115.177 Roy

We don't want to get too personal.

Chapter 3: What are the anonymous quotes about the NFL draft and Shador Sanders?

243.696 - 263.533 David Samson

I'm Aquaford up right now. This morning, I saw Mike get more insecure than I've ever seen Mike get insecure in his whole life. Because Jessie knows all of his weaknesses. She knows everything that makes him feel insecure. And she peeled some dry skin off of his ear. And he was mortified. And then she said, Mike, did you piss yourself?

0

263.913 - 273.715 David Samson

And he looked down and there was a wet spot on his shirt and lower groin area. And he walked out of the room with his tail tucked between his legs like I've never seen in my life.

0

276.456 - 277.816 Dan Le Batard

And now we're talking about it on the show.

0

277.836 - 286.118 Mike

Thank you, guys. Did you? Did you piss yourself? Yeah, man, I pissed myself. It's a great segment we got here. Nothing wrong with that.

0

290.049 - 293.772 Unknown

This is the Dan Levitar Show with the Stugatz Podcast.

298.237 - 321.555 Chris Cote

Stugatz out again with a toothache. I'm pretty sure he's going to miss the draft tomorrow night as part of the award-winning God Bless Football's coverage of the draft with a toothache tonight. That is early for that advertisement to come up on our show. It says, with Stugatz, Dan Lebitard show with Stugatz, but neither Dan Lebitard nor Stugatz. Well, maybe Stugatz will be there. I don't know.

321.615 - 342.134 Chris Cote

But at present, he has a toothache and can't make it. Greg says this is his hell week because... The draft has produced already a couple of anonymous quotes, okay? Oh, boy. Yeah. A head coach was quoted by Diana Russini as saying, there are no Robert De Niro's in this draft. I don't think young people know what that means.

343.467 - 369.13 Chris Cote

Robert, that is an old coach with saying that there are no great players in this draft. It is not going to stop us from covering the holy hell out of this draft. But Shador Sanders is now getting smeared anonymously even louder than before. An NFL assistant coach, according to Tom Pelissero, quote, The worst formal interview I've ever been in in my life. He's so entitled.

369.15 - 377.537 Chris Cote

He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates. But the biggest thing is he's not that good.

Chapter 4: How do the hosts feel about the Florida Panthers' playoff performance?

531.903 - 534.885 David Samson

Well, not in this case. It wasn't Slack.

0

535.365 - 565.228 Chris Cote

The reason I wanted to ask Chris, Roy, and Mike this is because I am still 30 years in this market. I still walk in today with a level of legitimate confusion about how much progress has been made in this market in hockey, when I'm coming in today and I'm like, what do you mean the Florida Panthers played a no problem, easy playoff game against the Tampa Bay Lightning?

0

567.228 - 594.077 Chris Cote

That's not normalized enough for me yet to understand that the playoffs begin with, oh, Kachuk rested. That's what that looks like when it's not him trying to play as a torso the last two postseasons. Him resting. Nate Schmidt, you got to be Schmidt-ing me. Get out of here. Nate Schmidt, two goals. I'm not yet in a place where I get that this is the best hockey team in the world.

0

595.049 - 609.693 Mike

That's strange. I mean, they beat them in five games last year on their way to a Stanley Cup, their second straight Stanley Cup appearance in the final. So, I mean, I understand what you're saying because Tampa was so dynastic. But this is, I mean, Florida's already had like a three-year run.

0

609.713 - 612.193 Chris Cote

No, but it's not just that. It's Sylvester Lasky.

612.413 - 613.934 Mike

He was the second best 88 on the ice.

614.494 - 631.131 Chris Cote

But I'm saying that's still that goalie. I've seen that snuff out a blueprint by getting hot in the playoffs. I understand that you guys are looking at me, where you been? But I expect Tampa to turn into something else in the playoffs. I don't expect the Panthers to do it.

631.531 - 647.409 Roy

They did it last year. But to your point... I think if Tampa wins game two, six to two, nobody's surprised. At least I'm not. If this series goes seven games, nobody's surprised. These games are close, Greg.

Chapter 5: What is the debate about the Florida Panthers vs Tampa Bay Lightning?

647.509 - 651.754 Chris Cote

The hockey playoffs have started and the teams are close and the games are close.

0

651.974 - 662.143 Roy

But I would not put too much emphasis on the fact that they won game one easily, because I think it's going to be... Okay, but can I do this though, please?

0

662.504 - 685.999 Chris Cote

They went on the road in the place where they made championships in hockey in Florida matter and made it look easy. Like, no! That's the gulf between the Celtics and the Heat now from when they were close and the gulf between the Lightning and the Panthers now in terms of the attitude you guys have of like, yeah, we expected that. I don't go into that expecting that.

0

686.419 - 707.631 Unknown

Well, one, everybody except for Aaron Ekblad returned to the ice. So the Panthers, they can basically run five lines out there right now as far as their forge is concerned. And two, you can beat Andre Vasilevsky by creating traffic. The first two goals that they had would be a deflection because he couldn't really see the puck and he couldn't adjust to it. Sam Bennett bunting it in. What a pass.

0

707.771 - 716.355 Roy

What a pass from Sam Iskevich. Oh my God. How do you do that? A waist-high pass and he's using his stick to put it in. That's unbelievable.

716.375 - 730.843 Chris Cote

You guys can say to me that's how you beat Vasilevsky. I've seen him beat the Panthers. I've seen the most overwhelming offense I had ever seen in a Panthers uniform snuffed out by that person. So you can tell me the way he... That was like three years ago, though.

730.963 - 733.663 Unknown

That was a whole completely different style.

733.703 - 745.747 Mike

That was a different Panther team. Florida actually did quite well against Vasileski last season. I'm always going to have that PTSD, so I'm with you. But I don't think you're allowed to be surprised by it anymore.

746.207 - 766.112 Mike

And maybe what you're doing is 30 years in this market covering this team, understanding that this is such an outlier on their timeline as a franchise, as a whole, that any kind of success still is bewildering. But at a certain point when it comes to these two teams, we have to realize that the dynamic has shifted some. That being said, Tampa has home ice in this series for a reason. Not anymore.

Chapter 6: Why is Matthew Kachuk considered the heart and spark of the Florida Panthers?

1104.709 - 1122.678 Mike

No, it's a whole thing. He's going to get opportunities because he's playing with good players, and I don't think his output would be better than Jesper, for example. Or Evan Rodriguez. Evan Rodriguez led the Stanley Cup final in goals. And he's a fourth liner on this team right now. My whole thing with Brad Marchand is he's just not the same player.

0

1122.698 - 1125.88 Mike

And if his name wasn't that, we'd be feeling a little differently about it.

0

1126.02 - 1136.367 Chris Cote

I'm pro Rodriguez always. He owes us a shirtless rollercoaster ride. He said if they won the title that he would come on shirtless and do a rollercoaster.

0

GameTime is the official ticketing partner of the Dan Levitard Show with Stu Gatz. I am Mike Ryan. And as you know, on this show, I am often touting GameTime because I believe in this product. And as a play-in tournament begins this week, why don't you head on over to GameTime? As a Miami Heat fan, I've got plenty of great experiences with that play-in tournament.

1224.645 - 1241.075 Mike

A lot of good runs started in this play-in tournament. Might be a little frustrated that they're always in the play-in tournament, but that's a story for another day. The good news is GameTime makes getting tickets to that play-in tournament faster and easier, even for hard-to-get playoff seats. Prices on the GameTime app may actually go down the closer it gets to tip-off.

1241.275 - 1259.643 Mike

With killer last-minute deals, all-in prices, views from your seat, and their lowest price guarantee, GameTime takes the guesswork out of buying NBA playoff tickets. And don't forget about that all in pricing. Toggling this feature shows the total up front with no surprise fees at checkout. And GameTime's got its unparalleled ticket coverage.

Chapter 7: What are the hosts' opinions on individual Florida Panthers players' performances?

1281.15 - 1300.599 Unknown Advertiser

Guys, I want to talk to you about something that I don't think we think about enough on a daily basis, and that's comfort, specifically when it comes to underwear. Because let's be real, when it's not right, you're going to feel it all day. And that's why I want to tell all of you about Tommy John.

0

1300.939 - 1319.585 Unknown Advertiser

Because the first time I put on a pair, I knew my underwear drawer would just simply never be the same. Tommy John just recently sent some of their product to those of us in the shipping container, and this is my first time wearing Tommy John underwear. I was really blown away by the comfort, by the stretch that was available within the design, by the texture.

0

1319.825 - 1337.91 Unknown Advertiser

There's a genuine comfort, and I can tell that they put in effort to make sure, specifically in our case with men, that we would feel comfortable. Honestly, Tommy John's changed the game for me. I know it's going to be a good day now when I walk out the door and I've got Tommy John on. No distractions, no adjusting, just all-day confidence.

0

1338.151 - 1358.999 Unknown Advertiser

If you haven't tried Tommy John yet, I personally think you're missing out. These are the MVP of your underwear drawer with up to four times more stretch than other brands, something I definitely appreciate. Don Levitard. Mike Ryan's in there, and he's the one with a baby. He's the one who's got to, like, worry about what the future is. And Mike Ryan bet on DraftKings because Mike Ryan bet on us. This is the bet you're afraid of doubling down on? Putting up a billboard in Edmonton? Stugatz.

1381.367 - 1383.369 Mike

I care more about Matthew Kachuk than I do my daughter.

1383.509 - 1386.692 Unknown

This is the Don Levitard Show with the Stugatz.

1389.855 - 1415.672 Chris Cote

Mike's getting a bit out of control in general on Marchand. It's a little bit messy, but he's also at the high end of, oh, I got a squad in a sport that I like. It's physical. And so he comes in here this morning and he's been doing this for a minute. He turns on his music. And I don't think anybody here was ready at 8 a.m. for whatever it is that that was.

Chapter 8: What sponsors and advertisements are featured in this episode?

1415.952 - 1425.516 Chris Cote

I heard some Pearl Jam, but the rest of you wake differently than the rest. There are different wake-ups here, right? So that music was aggressive for 8 a.m., was it not?

0

1426.056 - 1429.798 David Samson

Man, it's too early to be listening to Eddie Vedder.

0

1432.578 - 1441.582 Dan Le Batard

You can always tell Mike's mood by the music that you get when you walk in. In general, I like the music, but there are some days I'm like, oh, we're in a mood today. Well, that's a hockey song. That's a hockey sound.

0

1442.042 - 1457.068 Chris Cote

Well, what was today? Look, different people receive music different ways. I will tell you that clubhouses are temperamental places. I have seen Albert Bell take a bat to a thermostat because he wanted the temperature where he wanted it. Nah, that's Albert Bell, though. No, but Jose leaned.

0

1457.108 - 1469.951 Chris Cote

I've seen him throw a hunting knife across the locker room and embed itself in a wall because he didn't like the clubhouse music. He wanted Latin music, and there were schisms in their locker room.

1470.391 - 1480.753 Mike

Ricky's got 20-year in this clubhouse, and part of his process artistically before the show is dating back to when he would do the prep in his studio would be to just play music the entire time.

1480.773 - 1482.674 Chris Cote

Are you referring to yourself in the third person?

1482.894 - 1484.634 Mike

Oh, that does not sound great. That's what Ricky does.

1485.334 - 1504.703 Chris Cote

In terms of choosing the music around here, I'm asking the group. I have not taken the temperature of the group. I was asking because the music hit me in the side of the face and I was looking around the room and I generally don't tend to hear music very much for whatever the reason is. But the rest of the room I'm looking around and I couldn't tell how everybody else was receiving that music.
