Chapter 1: What are 'Where Were You' games in NBA history?
Have we established what the hell Tony's talking about when he says, where were you games in NBA history? Where were you games in NBA history? Where are the where were you things in American history? Space shuttle exploding. Assassination attempts.
Washington's funeral.
First man on the moon. So you're saying five. You've got five. What's some oil I sprinkled? Last night was not.
that can't last night just be it was really cool it was you you believe you luca like lucas that seemed genuine last night but it's not like a i'm not gonna remember last night when like i'm like my grandkids you'll never uh luca he was he got teary-eyed that's a tell your grandkids moment that's a completely separate that's another list exactly but that's a where were you no it's the same list tell your grandkids in a where were you moment are the exact same thing not even the most memorable thing that happened in sports last thank you mike
Messi?
Yeah. Lionel Messi. Doing great things. Coming back from a crazy aggregate deficit. They lost the first leg at LAFC 1-0. And then in the first 10 minutes of that game last night, they went down 1-0. Which not only put them behind on aggregate 2-0, but it gave LAFC something that Inter-Miami hadn't had. which was a road goal.

Chapter 2: How did Messi perform in the recent CONCACAF match?
So to win that game in advance of the semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, they needed to win that game against a good LAFC team 3-1. And I know Messi catches some crap sometimes because his style. He walks around. What's so hard? Not last night. 96 minutes of that dude trying his damnedest. All game long. That dude cared last night and he put that team on his shoulders.
It was a wonderful game. Honestly, hand to God, Among the most fun soccer games I've experienced.
Where were you game?
I was on my couch.
There was a where were you game. That's a soccer. That's a different list. That's a completely different list. You know I love soccer. I'm a soccer sicko. This is a tell your grandkids game.
I'm a soccer sicko. There's something about this competition in particular, which is really difficult for American teams to win. It's been around since the 1960s. It's really mattered here in the United States for probably 30 years. And famously, Mexican teams always win it.
It is really difficult to win this competition because, randomly, you'll have something that happened a couple of weeks ago, which is, in Miami and your whole team, you've got to go over to Jamaica and play on a rough pitch in weird conditions that you're not used to. It really challenges those MLS teams. This one was an MLS team against an MLS team, no doubt.
A good MLS team against another good MLS team. I don't understand why he cared so much.
Doesn't that validate the naysayers that it's so palpable? It's like, oh, that's what that looks like when it's like you don't see that all the time.

Chapter 3: Why is Messi's performance still exceptional?
In 2025, it's just hilarious to watch when those guys are on fumes. But the effort was there all night. That is a massive undertaking. Yeah, they get lucky with a handball in the box that draws a pen. Messi takes a brilliant pen against Hugo Lloris.
And that's in the 86th minute, though, right?
Yeah, and keep in mind, Messi had contributed. He had scored on a free kick that they called back because he took it too quickly. And he had scored, he had assisted on a Luis Suarez header because Suarez was a bit offside. So he scored a wonderful goal, a goal that few people on the planet can still do right now with how he dribbled through traffic.
This was what you wanted to see when Leo Messi came over to the United States, was him put an MLS team just on his back and decide, you know what? I'm that much better than everybody. I'm not going to let my team lose today.
It was awesome. Can we talk, Greg? I don't know why it is you're leaning back from the microphone. This would seem to be the Greg Cody wheelhouse if he actually cared about the soccer the way that he did in the 1800s when he covered the Fort Lauderdale. No strikers here in town in a stadium near the one where Messi, the greatest in the world, greatest ever, plays now. What Mike is saying there.
It's not near. It's the exact same spot. Same ground. Very near there. It's moved. It's sunk since then.
It's incredibly near there.
Right on it.
Many are saying it's right on top of that area. But this is a game that prior to yesterday. Greg, you were arguing that this might arguably be the biggest game in Inter-Miami's history.

Chapter 4: What are the top memorable NBA moments according to Tony?
Enter Miami. Well, this guy doesn't watch Hoops, so we should just eliminate him. I watch that game. You watch it on your third TV in silence.
The third TV is the same size as the second TV.
You've told us you're not a fan. It's not for you. This list is not for you.
Fair enough.
He's a fan.
And Tony, I'm trying to help you because I agree.
No, I know you are. Thank you.
You probably won't remember this in 10 years where you were, but of this season, you'll remember it.
Did you know that Doug Christie's a coach of the Kings? You didn't just call Jess a ball watcher. Yeah, she watches hoops, dude. She does.

Chapter 5: Why was Kobe Bryant's final game significant?
How many did he have in his final game? 81-point game? Oh, no. More on that in a second. Okay.
kobe's final game wow 60 points final game 2016 it was a where were you moment it was the it was the moment that all right kobe it's finally done come off the achilles tear score 60 they let him lay out and shoot a million times he gets there and then obviously we know what happens as part of his legacy very sad that's a whole another where were you moment i was in thailand by the way when that happened when kobe passed away that's another list of another time

Kobe's Achilles game where he tears the Achilles, goes back to the free throw line, sinks two free throws down.
Two Kobe games.
Oh, yeah. Three Kobe situations. The OLI. Well, yeah. Two games. Number five.
Here we go.
Another Kobe game, but not for this reason. Okay. 2004 Western Conference semis. The Derek Fisher .4 lefty shot. Oh, yeah. That was a crazy.

Chapter 6: How did the panel react to Tony's NBA list?
What do you mean it's an arcane detail? If the county doesn't pick it up, some hillbilly down at home said will.
See, that's believable. When you make up something like that, people will believe you because it's so specific.
But I thought that was the point of what we were doing, not just Tony's home every time. I mean, you know.
Number three. NBA Finals, Game 6, the Ray Allen game. I wasn't home there. I was at a Hooters. I was at Keck South. Oh, wow. Classic spot. I went there for many a dude.
It was the lucky spot.
He played playoff games. I was in a Hooters in Daytona Beach because I was coaching a kid's team, and me and all the coaches went out after to catch the game, found it at Hooters, and then we went to Ale House right after that, Dan, so I wasn't home.
That was a dark period. That fourth leg when we fell behind.
That was scary.
I was in my bedroom with all the lights off with my sheets so you could only see my face emerging.

Chapter 7: How does BetterHelp offer affordable therapy?
You know, the Tri-County area, they're mostly owned independently. So we don't have to worry about the bankruptcy one because I can tell you. That Doral one ain't going anywhere. Yeah, the Doral one's strong.
I don't even want the last one.
No, no, no. There's two more.
There's two more, Dan. You want these. Number two. Number two. The game to save the blueprint. 2012 in Boston. Game six. 45 from LeBron with a scowl. Dan, where were you? I was at Bobby's house. Okay. You know where I was? Keg South. That's how it became a loopy spot. I was at my buddy Tommy's house, okay, watching the game at Tommy's house on his couch.
We were terrified because the blueprint was over. Dan, I listened to you that day. You said the blueprint's over if they lose, and I was very worried.
My father did the strangest thing that night I have ever seen him do. because I was there and I was sitting on his couch with my girlfriend and my father, who got so nervous that while he was watching during all of that, for reasons I will not be able to explain to this day, in the living room, just dropped his pants and was standing there in his underwear. He just got scared, nervous.
He was all Heat fans.
That was all of us.
His house. Just like, wait, but why do I remember that? Because my father, for some reason, was in his tighty-whities just in the fourth quarter, scared.

Chapter 8: Why is Kinsta's web hosting service recommended?
It was fat. And it was just a memorable games list. Where were you? You knew where you were. That was a wonderful stroll down memory lane. It was. I'm not going to say. I love that.
Thank you. All right, Greg, you go. Nothing to cough at.
How did you get Mike's support but completely lost mine in the span of this list, Tony?
It's more heat stuff, I think.
Just guys being dudes. Jessica was so happy at the start of this segment, and you took it from her. I did.
You know what? I didn't understand that the list would invoke when basketball was actually good. I have one. You saw the vision, right? You see the vision.
Now I see it.
The game was the game. Greg Cody has one. I think we should all get out of the way.
He interrupted because I said in his ear, do you have any we could go to? He's like, I have one. In his ear, I'm like, you have a few we could go to? And then on air, and he interrupted Mike. He's just like, I have a couple that I could say.
