Chapter 1: What happened in the Knicks vs. Celtics Game?

1262.438 - 1269.583 Tass Mellis

How does he know when the most people are watching? I mean, he just wants it at night, I guess. Yeah, probably. But Saturday, you can get some numbers at 3.30, I think.

Oh, yeah.

0

1274.567 - 1279.031 Analysis Contributor

I was going to say he doesn't want to be working in the afternoon, but why would he be working? Yeah, tell me what happens.

0

1279.391 - 1282.073 Tass Mellis

He's golfing, I guess, and we'll be missing it, I guess.

Chapter 2: What were the key moments in the Knicks' comeback?

1721.777 - 1739.287 Analysis Contributor

Meanwhile, the other guys for the Thunders totally, the Thunders, showed up. Caruso, he's had two good games. It was mostly just defense in this one. But Isaiah Joe hit four threes. I thought Wiggins was an absolute demon. He scored 10 points in the second quarter, and everyone felt like a highlight play from him. Case and Wallace, a couple of steals and a couple of threes.

1739.327 - 1740.409 Analysis Contributor

This was a perfect Thunder game.

0

1742.188 - 1756.932 Tass Mellis

It was. It was a perfect Thunder game. I thought the defense on Jokic was a real toilet bowl type of defense. It wasn't a, hey, we're just going to W and let you pass out of it. It was a swirling all around him, so they took away the passing lanes. They did a great job of that.

0

1757.512 - 1770.235 Tass Mellis

And occasionally they'd throw a small guy at him that couldn't be pushed, like an Alex Caruso turned into a turnover because Jokic was offensive fouling him, or a Lou Dort, which would happen, and he was just too tough.

0

1771.135 - 1798.723 Analysis Contributor

to be taken out of that toilet they would just clog that thing up enough enough and that's why Jokic had six buckets six turnovers and six fouls he seemed frustrated with the physicality in this one and the bodies and so many people swarming at him I mean like you said he got himself fouled out that last one was the one where he was like jumping on Jill and William's back if I remember correctly the end of the third quarter so game out of reach and if anything it's like good yeah sit him down for the entire fourth and get ready for game three but yeah he was he was frustrated

1798.976 - 1818.246 Tass Mellis

Yeah, it wasn't just taking away him. It was a perfect game because they were able to take away the lane and not let Westbrook or Christian Brown score in tight. For them to only have 28 points in the paint, just 14 buckets, that just means, yes, you're incapable of getting in there. They're able to move, and that's why it kicked butt when it came to fast break points, 26-5.

1820.387 - 1836.816 Tass Mellis

That's the Nuggets deal. I mean, they're so good at the fast break points, but they couldn't do it against this team. They turned it over 20 times. The rebounds. Finally, the Thunder turned it around after game one after getting smashed. But 87 points in the first half. Six guys in double figures. That's a new playoff record. 87 freaking points.

1836.976 - 1838.737 Analysis Contributor

That's so many freaking points.

1839.979 - 1840.72 Tass Mellis

It's here, man.

Chapter 3: How did the Celtics struggle in their performance?

1941.572 - 1941.752 Tass Mellis

Yeah.

0

1942.053 - 1963.303 Analysis Contributor

What do you think of the Denver, excuse me, the OKC crowd changing how they received Russell Westbrook? Game one, it was all ovations, applause. This one was more leaning into the booze. Maybe a part of that is because they lost game one. Switch it on its head here. Westbrook had a fine game. I mean, he's a minus 30 like all the other starters. I mean, he came off the bench.

0

1963.644 - 1968.726 Analysis Contributor

So it's not like he had an impact on winning, but he was at least getting into the free throw line a little bit. What do you think about that move?

0

1968.926 - 1972.087 J.E. Skeets

I didn't feel it watching the TV. Could you feel it?

0

1972.388 - 1992.481 Analysis Contributor

Not really. No. It was more pointed out of people in the arena. Yeah, like I couldn't feel one way or the other. Game one was it like, wow, we're loving Westbrook. Not really. Game two is boo, boo, boo. Not really. So I'm sure there's like eight people that Andrew Schlecht is hearing. That guy's booing. I'll write that down. No, just a beat down. And it was pretty impressive.

1992.841 - 1999.645 Analysis Contributor

And everybody contributed for the Thunder. And it was nobody really having any sort of answer for the Denver Nuggets. But they go back 1-1.

2000.407 - 2021.644 Tass Mellis

Yeah, I wonder if they keep throwing a zone defense at OKC too. It just seems like they're copping out a little bit at times to see whether or not OKC can shoot. But they didn't need to. They just passed it so well and just got through their holes of the Nuggets defense. So it's a defense that wasn't incredible throughout the year and got better against the Clippers.

2023.265 - 2025.847 Tass Mellis

We'll be watching that because it didn't work, obviously.

2026.189 - 2039.355 Analysis Contributor

Going to be hard-pressed to lose a playoff game when you shoot 56% from the floor, 44 from deep, and then a cool 92 at the line if you want to round up. That's the old 50-40-90 for a team there. That's good. Good percentages.

Chapter 6: What are the implications of Steph Curry's injury for the Warriors?
