Preheat oven to 250° 2. Braise short ribs in Dutch oven; add onion, bone broth, garlic, red wine, salt and pepper to taste 3. Place in oven and roast for 5 hours 4. Cook pasta to al dente 5. Cook kale with salt, pepper, garlic, and EVOO 6. Heat oil for frying pasta, and fry in small batches 7. Layer noodles, kale, then meat and sauce 8. Fuck yeah. You're like the Dirk Diggler of acting. You're like the Dirk Diggler of white guys. You're like, wow, that's it. That's the shit.

Where it's like, you know, we could both play the stone guy playing video games in the grandma's basement. But then, you know, we both also got to play authority figures or an intellectual and something funny, something serious. I mean, I've been lucky that way.
After Compton, I didn't get work for a year, and I was like, dude... But you had to turn some stuff down, right? I mean, one, you know, no disrespect to the horror community, but they gave me one horror film, and I was just like, you know, I don't really think this is for me. And that was it. And then after everything else, I...
You know, I got nervous, you know, I'm thinking it's going to be completely different and not getting to work for a year and leaving school. And so, you know, I really got hard on myself. And then I ran into Aubrey Plaza and me and Aubrey did Ingrid Goes West.
Oh, yeah, it's a great movie.
Ingrid Goes West put new eyes on me because it was, you know, the indie, you know, yeah, it's cool. a new audience watches you. And then from there, it really started to roll. People started to think that I'm, you know, he's taking acting serious. And I told my team, every film that we do has to be completely different from the last thing we did. So like, yeah, we did Strider Compton.
Then we go the indie route with Angry Girls West. The next thing was Den of Thieves. After Den of Thieves, we went and did Godzilla. And then after Godzilla, it was Long Shot. So it has to be different from the last thing we did. So they can't put me in that box. Well, also, I don't know.
