At just 18 years old, he has smashed the record for the youngest world chess champion, set in 1985 by a 22-year-old Garry Kasparov. On Thursday, Gukesh beat the defending champion, China's Ding Liren, in Singapore. The match was tied with just a game remaining before Ding made a blunder which shocked the chess world.
