Chapter 1: What is it like to live without a nanny?

31.783 - 35.684 Harrison

Yeah, it's a disaster. It really looks like the house of a toddler.

0

35.724 - 36.284 Alex

She's a newborn.

0

36.304 - 38.265 Harrison

But what do you think we actually would have done?

0

38.305 - 41.586 Alex

If your visa didn't get renewed, we'd stay here in America and you'd go back to Canada.

0

Chapter 2: Are they really moving abroad?

41.646 - 46.067 Harrison

So, the question then becomes, when you get raw chicken, what should the restaurant do?

0

46.087 - 57.647 Alex

Comp the entire meal and it is not close. Welcome back to another episode of Just Alex. Happy holidays. So you transition to happy new year?

0

80.31 - 80.29 Harrison

100%.

0

80.33 - 86.656 Harrison

So when can you start saying happy holidays? And then if you're saying it ends January 1st, how long do you say happy new year for?

0

86.736 - 91.78 Alex

I think you say happy new year all of January.

91.82 - 94.683 Harrison

You give happy new year a month? That's ridiculous.

Chapter 3: How can you travel with a newborn?

95.284 - 97.265 Alex

Or at least like the first week or two.

0

97.346 - 102.01 Harrison

I think first week, no brainer. I think the second week, you're kind of stretching it.

0

Chapter 4: What should restaurants do when serving raw chicken?

105.049 - 107.992 Alex

I'm not gonna be mad if I get a happy new year the third week. I'm not gonna be mad.

0

108.072 - 110.914 Harrison

I'm gonna be like, yeah, you gotta get something new to focus on.

0

111.495 - 114.477 Alex

Well, I'm not gonna be focused on the new year.

0

114.517 - 119.381 Harrison

But if someone's coming in. And then, and sorry, when do you think you should start with the happy holidays?

0

119.481 - 140.898 Alex

I think that people, I think that Thanksgiving to me is not in part of the happy holidays. But I do think when you start saying happy holidays, you're also saying I'm shutting my laptop. I think they very much so go hand in hand. Like, Have you seen those memes where people are like, happy holidays and we'll touch base after the new year? That vibe? I think that starts around Thanksgiving.

140.918 - 148.28 Harrison

Okay, so you're saying you start the happy new year after Thanksgiving.

148.3 - 155.303 Alex

I guess. Or the week of Thanksgiving. Listen, I don't start throwing happy holidays around until December.

155.323 - 182.491 Harrison

Okay. You? I think that... Into the Thanksgiving week, it's like, hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Then Thanksgiving week, happy Thanksgiving. And then I think the week after Thanksgiving, you say, hope you had a great Thanksgiving. And then after that week, you transition to happy holidays. Happy holidays, you ride till Gen 1. Gen 1, you go, happy new year. Happy new year, really a week of it.

182.551 - 184.411 Harrison

I think past a week is a bit of a stretch.

Chapter 5: Do you tip babysitters?

323.004 - 326.646 Harrison

No. Who's grace? Who is grace?

0

Chapter 6: Should babies be allowed in bars?

328.439 - 331.32 Alex

Hast du nie einen Weihnachtsabend gesehen?

0

331.5 - 335.842 Harrison

Ich liebe Weihnachten. Ich bin auf Weihnachtsfilmen.

0

335.862 - 338.884 Alex

Chapter 7: How do new parents manage outings with their newborn?

367.97 - 369.25 Alex

Also habe ich wahrscheinlich 70 Prozent davon gesehen. Aber ich weiß, dass es ein Klassiker ist, aber ich werde es nicht abschließen. Okay. Was haben wir vorher darüber geredet? Nicht vorher, bevor wir an diesem Thema geredet haben. The house being messy, this house, yes. It's just a pigsty.

0

424.171 - 443.62 Alex

But we're just embracing that. And giving ourselves grace, yes. And just loving this time with Tater. Because this is what I said to Harrison yesterday. I'm not going to look back at this time and think, oh, the house was so clean. Oh, I got to go on my walks every day. No, I'm going to look back on it and be like, wow, we had so much fun, the three of us as a family, while she was a newborn.

443.98 - 445.481 Harrison

Right?

448.342 - 448.602 Harrison

Yeah, I agree.

448.622 - 448.762 Alex

Okay, so...

449.122 - 460.767 Alex

A moment for you, a round of applause. Harrison's big, big, big news. So we were riding in the car on the way to the airport. I was dropping you off. No, we were Ubering to the airport.
