there was a reality in my life where I would wake up, look in the mirror, and feel sorry for myself. and then I realized I had nothing to lose.
Chapter 1: What personal challenges did the host face?
There was a reality in my life where my day to day was waking up, looking at the mirror and feeling sorry for myself because I thought I was fat, because I thought I was ugly and stupid. I was working a dead end job that I thought was mid. It was fine. I was grateful that I had it, but it was mid. And one day when I was looking at the mirror, I realized I had nothing to lose. Why?
Chapter 2: How can changing your attitude impact your life?
Because if I was going to keep living my life this way, nothing was going to change. You cannot do the same thing over and over again and expect different results, especially when you know the things that you're doing aren't working. So I said, okay, I have nothing to lose. Maybe I should change the way I view my world. Attitude is free.
Chapter 3: What small changes can improve self-perception?
So I decided, instead of waking up in the morning and calling myself an ugly, fat, loser, excuse of a human being in my mind, what if I found something I liked about myself? Even if it wasn't true, what if I found something that was okay? I was like, all right. Those are small things. I wasn't rizzing myself. I wasn't being like, Sin City wasn't made for you.
No, I was, you know, looking at myself and being like, okay, hey. Face card's looking pretty good today. Hey, I look rested. I look like I slept eight hours. Great. This small change in the morning started to spill over to other things in my life. Suddenly, when I would go into work, instead of being like, oh my God, I'm working eight hours, oh my gosh, I used it as an opportunity to learn.
Chapter 4: How to find learning opportunities in your job?
Okay, I'm in the footwear department. What can I learn about the shoes that I'm working with? The new Roshi runs just came in. How can I learn more about them so if someone asks me about them, I can tell them about the Roshi runs? Is there another department that needs help offering that I would help out?
We can do everything that comes. Das Handwerk.
Chapter 5: What does it mean that attitude is free?
3,000 action stores in Europe and we celebrate with extremely low prices. For example, our super thin washbasin pots, 18 pieces, only 2,99. And our spectrum spray paint for perfect coverage, only 2,33. For even more extremely low prices, visit our stores or check out the app Action. Small prices, great fun.
Chapter 6: What do you have to lose by changing your attitude?
Attitude. Oh, see, even this, this sucks. I want to show you this card that says attitude is free, but it's blown away. I can look at that and be like, or I can straighten the card out. I can try again. Attitude is free. The way that you view your surroundings, the way that you view yourself, you can control it. You can. Nah, nah. It's just the way it is. Maybe. Or maybe it's your attitude.
Chapter 7: Did the host's life improve after deciding to change?
What do you have to lose? A lot of us don't want to change. We don't even want to entertain changing. Because it's scary. And I get it. This attitude thing... Most people think it's a bunch of woo-wah. It's a bunch of... It's a crystal. But what do you have to lose?
Because I'll tell you something, when I started to decide I want to live a good life and I'm going to live a good life, I started living a good life. Genuinely. Did it happen overnight? Absolutely not. Do things still suck? Of course. You kidding me? The other week my car engine almost burst into flames. But at least it didn't actually. Then I had to take it to a mechanic and drop $800.
I met the mechanic that I know I can go and take my car and get serviced. Chill guy. Things will always happen. That is just baseline, life experience. Things always happen. Sometimes they're unfortunate. And you're gonna have to pay a price, you will. Whether that's your time, whether that's monetarily, whether that's part of your soul. When you get heartbroken, you pay the price.
Part of you leaves you. It sucks. So if you have attitude for free, why not do something with it? You will not leave me alone, huh? Okay. You want the ball? You want the ball? Dogs. If you're going to have a dog, you're going to have to throw it a ball once in a while. It is what it is. That's what life is, right? An attitude is something I think that needs to be studied.
For a lot of us, we think we already know what our attitude is. Yeah, I have a pretty good mindset. Sure, you know, I think I have a chill life, whatever. But have you really went and examined how you think of things when you're under pressure? Because when you're under pressure, that's when your attitude gets tested.
When you're on a road trip with your family and you're helping your parents on Google Maps and you're telling them to go off of one exit and they don't listen to you because they're like, no, it shows that it's the next exit. And then they get mad at you. They get mad at you. It's your problem. Right. That they didn't take the right exit that you told them five times to take. Attitude, bro.
You could look at that and be upset and be angry. brush it off you already deal with so much stuff some things aren't worth the time real talk attitude is so powerful we underestimate the power of it because it's not something tangible it's not something that you really think of you have to be cognizant of it you have to notice it for me my attitude
really shows itself when i start talking to myself and the way that i communicate with who i am and the way i have my internal monologues and sometimes those monologues are terrible i'll wake up in the morning and there's a part of my brain that's telling me you suck you suck you told yourself you're gonna wake up at seven and you woke up at 8 30. you're a loser you're a freaking loser i can't believe it
Hello, that's my attitude. Be cognizant of how you talk to yourself. Because at the end of the day, that really changes all of your attitude going forward. Towards everything. Your perspective on everything. If you don't know how to have a good attitude about yourself, you won't have a good attitude about work. You won't have a good attitude about school.
