Chapter 1: What are the highlights from The Valley recap?

He came on stage, performed with her, and so we're like, hey, if you're in town, come stop by and say hi. And he is, and we will be talking to him later this episode. It's really good.
It's it's almost it's almost a phone down show. And I don't say that a lot about a lot of reality TV, because honestly, like you can kind of check in, check out, you know, rewind. But like you really got to pay attention to this one.
So much is happening in every scene. And I'm just like, wait, wait. Michelle said what? Jax, what? You're going where?
Is Michelle as toxic as Jesse?
Honestly, yeah, they're both like I think they're both on the same even playing field. I was like doing a vote for who can stay in a house that he rented, like putting your friends in that in that toxic environment where it's like, OK, we can't even be in the same place with you guys.
And then like breaking down when they don't choose you. It was like, yeah, I mean, it's his trip. She's like, yeah, I don't care.
Yeah, that doesn't matter. Where does it not matter?

I don't I didn't watch Spencer Pratt back in the early 2000s. But was he a misogynistic pig towards his wife?
Absolutely not. If anything, people thought he was like controlling because he's trying to protect Heidi. But it was like doing the most being like you can't you can't watch the show back. You can't do it. Like it's not good for you. But then everyone's like he's a fucking monster. And then come to find out that he's actually just like loved his wife and his partner.
Yeah, so I'm trying to figure out, like, what are we misreading about Jesse? You know what I'm saying? Like, fast forward 10 years from now, he's still in the reality TV game, and he's outside of the valley. Like, what is...
I don't know. I feel like it's just like that person that you don't want to get into a conversation with at a party. Like, it's just like, wait, what the fuck just came out of your mouth?
Jessie to me gives like watched entourage and took notes. Yeah. You know what I mean? Took it to heart. Yeah. You know, when somebody you just realize somebody views things in a completely different way than you. I think that might just be Jessie.
Him sitting at that table with Kristen and Luke, like giving the whole like, and then I found the honey in my pantry. And what did I do next? I found him on social media. And what was in his bio? The honey company. And guess what? He gets the honey comes from Runyon. Guess who's going to Runyon every morning? Michelle. It was like he's like playing this like FBI game. It was crazy.

kristen's right to be like okay you're a fan like you're proving my point now there is an episode of vanderpump rules and i did feel bad for her at the time but um sheena invites all the girls over to like get their dresses their uniforms for sir hemmed and janet's doing the hemming but it's like they give janet all of the dresses and then all the girls go sit on the couch and kiki and then she's just over there oh my god
So she's getting her revenge.
This is Janet's revenge.
The thing about the Vanderpump cast, because it originates, obviously, the Valley is essentially a spinoff of Vanderpump in a weird way. But there are some people in the Vanderpump cast who have made friends with fans. And they surround themselves with these fans and become friends with the fans.
but there's clearly a level of like, these are my friends, but my friends are, you know, it's like an entourage.
It's like they, my posse.
Yeah. They, it's not their equals. It is their fan friends. And then like over time, then there's this like weird dynamic. And it seems, that's seems to be Janet.

Also, as someone who's met Luke in person after I've seen him on TV, he's a handsome man. Yeah. He's a tall, good-looking guy.
He's a handsome man. He looks good on Watch What Happens Live, too. He looks like- I don't know if this is common, but he's better looking in person than he is on TV.
He is. I haven't met Jesse in person, but short. Danny, short.
