That's not the only way that you can find out what works and what doesn't. It's not just about the financial risk. It's about putting your ideas, your vision, and yes, your ego on the line. Here's where it gets interesting. And listen up. Each risk presents a new learning opportunity.
It's a chance to test your strategies, to refine your products or your offers, or even pivot your entire business model based on real world feedback.
Chapter 6: Why should entrepreneurs avoid analysis paralysis and just launch their ideas?
i always tell people this quit getting stuck on analysis paralysis just put it out there let people that don't know you actually look at your ideas your vision your offer and then you're going to be able to tell whether it's going to work or not quit thinking you have to be perfect in order to execute a business idea all right let's get to the good stuff let's talk about regret
Regret has a much longer shelf life than the immediate sting of a risk gone wrong. If you don't take the leap now, you might find yourself wondering what if years down the road. And guess what? It sucks when you're old and you see some 20 year old, some teenager being a multimillionaire. And you're like, what am I doing with my life? Trust me, I've been there.
And often, that what if carriers a heavy weight than any failure you may encounter along the way in your life. Look, take it from someone who's been there. When I shifted from my career in law enforcement into entrepreneurship, starting with just a single ATM business to merchant services and then finally digital marketing, each step included risk.
But the thought of looking back with regret for not trying was far more daunting than any potential failure that I could ever think of. So look, if you're listening to this right now, this is for you. For all the aspiring people that are trying to be entrepreneurs, trying to start your own business, trying to start your own side hustle, you gotta ask yourself this one question.
What's holding me back? More often than not, it's not the risk itself, but it's the fear of dealing with possible outcomes. Embrace the fear because on the other side of fears lies your potential success. Look, begin with calculated risk, assess the situation, understand the worst case scenario, and prepare accordingly. But once you've done your homework, jump in.
Whether it's launching a new product, pitching it on an investor, or even rewriting your business plan, it takes time, guys. And trust me, no one's perfect. Take imperfect action. Taking action is what matters. So look, as I wrap up today's episode, remember, the risk of starting your own business is significant. Not everybody can do it, but the regret of never trying is even greater.
