Chapter 1: What can people do to improve their lives right now?

0.029 - 17.306 Host

Things that people can do right now. You know, I tell people when I speak all the time, you don't have to hire me. Like, I'm going to start now. And, you know, there are a lot of speakers that say three-fourths into their speech, all right, here are the top five things that you should take away. Like, I'm giving that to you the moment I come on stage.

Chapter 2: What is your 'because' in life?

17.987 - 23.793 Host

The moment I walk out there, let's get ready to write down. We don't need fluff. Let's just go. And to me, that's why I've been able to stay busy.

0

26.431 - 33.275 Host

All right, guys, we got fellow podcaster Mick Hunt here. I think we always go back and forth in our category, number one, number two. So it's good to meet you, man.

0

Chapter 3: How did Mick start his business journey?

33.375 - 34.455 Host

It's a fun little rivalry, right?

0

34.475 - 35.756 Host

Yeah, a little friendly competition.

0

Chapter 4: Why is wisdom more valuable than experience?

35.836 - 36.316 Host

Exactly.

0

Chapter 5: What impact did Les Brown have on Mick's motivation?

36.376 - 37.737 Host

Yeah, that's how I found you, man.

0

38.077 - 38.397 Host

There it is.

0

38.417 - 39.818 Host

Those Apple charts, you're always up there.

0

40.218 - 47.022 Host

I love it. I love it. And you're doing an amazing thing too. So I'm glad that we're there together. We can be friends and still do what we do, right? Like you don't have to hate each other.

0

47.102 - 50.824 Host

Nah. That's the beauty of it. That's why I like friendly competition because it pushes you.

51.044 - 51.424 Host

Exactly.

Chapter 6: What are key leadership lessons to learn?

51.624 - 55.31 Host

Yeah, but what's the core of your show about? What message are you trying to push mainly?

0

55.57 - 74.472 Host

So it's all about being fueled by your because. You know, like Simon Sinek many years ago did the start with why. And I feel like why is great, but it's also very superficial. I could probably guess your why. But I can't guess your because. And your because is your story. It's that thing that really fuels you to individual success, business success.

0

74.852 - 89.504 Host

And so we talk about your because, how to find it, but then also how to overcome the obstacles that we all are going to overcome, right? Success is never easy for anyone. You know, me and my guests, we talk about tips and tricks that people can start implementing in their day to day. I love that.

0

90.004 - 95.99 Host

Once I found my purpose, which took me 26 years, by the way, my life changed. I wake up so fulfilled now. It's crazy.

0

Chapter 7: How important is networking in business?

96.111 - 104.219 Host

Right. And to me, that's the key. You just said it. Fulfillment. Right. Like people talk about happiness. It's not happiness. It's fulfillment. Right. And that's why I love what you just said.

0

104.875 - 122.464 Host

Yeah, and it's hard. I see some people never find it. I've seen old people on their deathbed with a lot of regrets, so it's scary. Absolutely. Yeah, it's super tough. I found it through podcasting, actually. Really? When I started this show, it was just about how to make money at first. That was the main thing, just have on really successful people, teach people how to make money.

0

122.544 - 129.108 Host

But that got boring real quick. You know what I mean? 100 episodes in, I'm like... let's, let's explore some other stuff, you know, the fulfillment, right?

0

129.128 - 145.06 Host

Because now you've recently moved into the self-improvement education category, which is what your podcast was anyway. Yeah. It wasn't marketing. Right. And, and, and to me, that's the beauty of, of why we podcast is why we help, right? Because it's not selfish. You can easily just have a solo podcast and talk about whatever you want.

0

Chapter 8: What are Mick's insights on balancing personal growth with friendships?

0

152.826 - 153.227 Host

I love it.

0

153.887 - 165.477 Host

And it's topics that you would never really talk about because it was kind of looked down on when we were growing up. Like whether it's money, religion, spirituality, health. People were scared to talk about these things back in the day.

0

165.697 - 167.859 Host

Right. No, wholeheartedly. So kudos to you, dude.

0

167.959 - 173.904 Host

Yeah, you too, though, man. I think podcasting is such a good form of spreading positive messaging. Wholeheartedly. Because it's so authentic.

174.105 - 174.685 Host

Wholeheartedly.

174.705 - 176.967 Host

You can't be fake for podcasts for a long time.

177.247 - 177.668 Host

Not at all.

178.228 - 201.065 Host

not because your listens will tell you yeah right your listens will tell you you don't you don't stay where you and i stay with having fluff yeah right you could put on a show for a few minutes but podcast for an hour a week two hours a week right now you're not hiding not at all you know what i mean those skeletons are coming out of your closet absolutely absolutely but before you got into podcasting i know you had a successful business an agency that was doing 3.2 million a year
