I experienced sexism and misogyny, but it never really got in my way in the spaces I was in because I was extremely fortunate to go to a great college and all that stuff. I got out of college and got into the sports world. And I was like, oh, shit. I have to deal with this stuff, too. I'm not immune to this.

Just because I was a Division I athlete and an Ivy League student and I was coming in super prepared and ready to go, I was still going to have to deal with harassment and sexism and misogyny and disrespect and people assuming I didn't know what I was doing.
