And our relationship overall is amazing. And sometimes he makes jokes that I just think are hurtful. And I have told him and he says they're not even spirited and he's just joking. But it's hurtful and I can't get past it.

And I... I don't know what to do to make him see my side because I feel like if he could understand that his impact was not matching his intent, then he wouldn't be making the jokes.
