Yeah, I can see the level of how that affected you just the minute you started talking about the choice that you had to make from going through victimhood or honoring his legacy. Your whole facial expression changed, the whole demeanor changed. Obviously, that was something deeper than surface level. And there was a lot. It wasn't just the passing thing.

But there was also, there was responsibilities that were left in your lap and there was, there was duties that left. And it was a battle. And then you went on to.

Some of it wasn't even yours, to my understanding.

growth and and it's kind of one of them situations where like you know you're paying your dues you're paying your dues you're paying your dues you're paying dudes and all of a sudden that spick it just turns on and and just lights up and i think in the past five years at least from my perspective that's what i've really seen with where your growth is you know the impact you've had on the the country the the real estate industry and so forth so you know without getting into all that you can look up all that but that's kind of the introductory um of of who he is

I want to unpack that real quick because I want our listeners and viewers to fucking hear what you just said. This was in 2010, 2011. You know, this was in the 08 crisis. Yeah. Where everybody could easily and had, I mean, I don't want to say had the right, but had the option and was a viable option to say, hey, this is too much for me. I'm tapping out. I'm filing bankruptcy. I'm not paying you.

I can't pay you. Yeah. The burden's too much. And what you chose to do is you chose to sit here and honor those commitments, pay your dues, pay people off, keep your integrity, keep your word, not even knowing what was on the other side of that. Just knowing what you had to go home and sleep and face at nighttime. And knowing that the next day when you wake up tomorrow,

You know what the community, you know what your peers, you know what the people around you would say about you, regardless if you tapped out or not, which so many people do. And you're so right.

So many people lose the importance and lose their nearsighted on the fact of, dude, if I just help so many people and keep my word and do the right thing, it will pay off in the end because I will have to cross some path, some road, some way, shape, or form. I will have to see somebody again that...

100%.

Yeah, that's that's that's definitely going to be a real that's going to pop up. You're going to hear that again because that shit is is is a golden nugget.

Like you said, the people sitting at the top of the mountain all feel that way.

Funny how that works, right?

Yeah.

What I wanted to get you on here today was is talk about some of the stuff that like really pushed you to to do some of those things and and go so hard. You know, from the outside perspective, you know, they might see the they might see the videos. They might see the Lambo. They might see some of the jewels and all that stuff and think that real estate's easier.

Yeah. Ever. I know that's how you are. Yeah. Yeah, it's in the gym space too. A lot of guys and gals ask me, why do I, you know, push my coaches to build their own brands? You know, they're like, they'll leave you one day. Well, just because they leave you doesn't necessarily mean it has to be on bad terms. No, 100%. It doesn't mean we can't collab in the future. We can't do anything else.

It's just everybody has that stigma of, you know, it's us versus them and it never works out. Moving forward, I want to talk about this and I want to touch on it because this is one of the most impressive and horrible things you had to go through. But there was a time where, you know, you had found yourself knocking on death's door.

And you were in the trenches of business. You were, you know, I don't know all the details, but shit was flying around you left and right. Can you talk about that a little bit and what happened there? And you know what I mean?

Think that investing is easy and stuff like that.

I'd agree to that.

Yeah. I want to go way back, right? Way back from when you first started. When you first started real estate, it was roughly around the 08 crash in that timeframe. And we didn't have social media. We didn't have any kind of digital marketing or anything like that. We had a phone book and a room.

And then that just didn't go with your, you know, the appearance, but I mean, the way that you eat. I mean, you had a freaking meal today that, you know what I mean, was prepared, ready to go on time. It's remarkable. Yeah.

What was it in those early days that pushed you to kind of make the choice into saying something's got to change in real estate?

Do you know what I mean? Will yourself to, to, to heal.

The medical field is flawed, but it's also a necessary evil.

But what I'm hearing you say is your absolute mindset and the preparation leading up to that moment of saying, I'm not going to fucking die before my grandparents. I'm going to walk out of this fucking hospital. You willed yourself to heal.

So that's an incredible story, dude. And what I, why I ask these questions, you know what I mean?

Because, you know, I know, and a lot of, you know, but everybody knows how successful you've become and you're on, on your way to, because you're, you're always climbing another mountain, you know, and, and these stories, you know, your friends, your family, people care and know you, they, they know about these stories. You know what I mean? But,

The lining of the way the things that you had to go through and you did, you know, you went from making very good money, having a good life, you know, living in fucking Miami, going across the country to humbling yourself, making eighteen thousand dollars in a field that, you know what I mean? You had massive uncertainty and you willed your way through that.

And you sat here and you said you weren't going to be a victim there. You said you were going to be a victor. You went through, got busy, started working. And then you go through the crisis of your business partner, your friend, you know, with his passing. You decided that day you weren't going to be a victim. You willed your way through that.

You made a choice that day to hold your values in place, your integrity in place. And then you get sick. And these are just the big things. There's millions and countless things that have been popping up and, you know, hitting you. 100%. and striking and ease throughout the course.

But these things are where people, most people, most people in the quest to success, most people that want to be successful, they, they will use those moments to define them as why they can't. And you use those moments to define you as why you will.

and you overcame the adversity, and all those moments prepared you to get into the next phase and the next season of your life and where that was going. And I want our people to hear how important it is that when you do have these moments, these fucking impossible odds, human beings are resilient as fuck.

We can get through some impossible things, some incredible things with our minds and with our determination and the lack of victimhood, right? So that pushes us into the now, right? And one of the things that I really admire and I think is incredible about you, Brandon, is, and you know this, I've told you in your face, I don't give a fuck about your money.

I don't give a fuck about the shit you do. I respect what you've accomplished, but the character, the human that you are, right? You know, I've told people when I was, you know, we did the podcast the last time and you have this ability to spot talent and you've said this on stage about me and you said, hey, I'm going to get this guy, I want this guy to work for our organization.

And I didn't know nothing about it and here we are. And quickly I knew that your culture and that office was where I needed to be because it aligned with me and the things I was doing. I was already in the leadership space, but then for a solid year, I was like, this can't be, you know, most people aren't like this, right? Most people aren't who they say they are. There's always a hidden clause.

There's always something behind. I looked for the chink in your armor, looked at the chink in Rich's armor, your partner. I was waiting for, you know, the curtain to fall. And it never happened. And it, it just in that year, year and a half, I just, you got more buy-in for me and more buy-in for me. And the things you said, you know, applied and helped.

And there were so many great things come, but then someone who's been through the things that you've been through, right? You have this incredible ability to predict the future. You have this incredible ability to, um, be very efficient, right? And you have this incredible ability to connect pieces and people with relationship building and things like that.

There's a whole other side of you that I've seen that really is why I love you so much, man, is your heart. I've seen you do some incredible things. And I know you probably don't want me to talk about this, but you said everything was good to go. But I've seen you do some things, man, that no one has to fucking do when it comes to the people you care about. Yeah.

Yes, sir. I wish we had an hour because, I mean, this feels like this podcast flew by, and I only think that we scratch the surface, but we don't. So I'd be remiss if I didn't, you know, ask a couple of quick questions. One of the questions I want to ask is because if you chose, and I don't mean to be in your business and put it out there, but if you chose... To not have to work.

Because you fucking still, every day, you're still the first one there, last one to leave. So guys and gals on our team, you hear me say that. Weekends, holidays. Weekends, holidays. You know, we met last Sunday. I mean, this is how you do it, right? You know your purpose. You know your space of genius. And you live it out.

But if you wanted to, and I'm not saying you could afford to live the life that you do today, but if you wanted to, you could choose not to work as hard as you do now.

So why? At this point, why and what is it all for?

A lot of boutiques.

It's awesome. That's awesome. That's a great answer, man. Wrapping up, you know, we would be foolish if we didn't put an elevator pitch or a shameless plug or some sort of, you know, we're on eXp now. Been with eXp for half a year, over half a year now. It's been a great venture. Maybe not even that long. September. And you're not even, you know, you're not even selling real estate.

Like a lot of people have the misconception that you're selling real estate. Like you're way beyond that, been beyond that for quite some time.

Yeah. I mean, we're talking about two decades in the game. You know, we're talking about an innovator here, right? And where I'm getting at is, is now, you know, you're raising money. You're investing money. You're speaking on stages. You're coaching the best of the best. I witnessed this. People don't know and realize it around here, but I've watched and I see who the rooms that you speak in,

the people you're next to, the people you're coaching, you know, these are, other moguls and other people, real big people that are around you that are getting knowledge and stuff like that, that you provide. Um, but you're raising capital, you know what I mean? Constantly deploying capital constantly. We've got a lot of silos over there, you know, um, where can they find you?

What, what, what can they, you know, anybody listen to this that wants to potentially is interested or, or something like that. Where would it.

Awesome. Awesome. Well, man, listen, dude, and I'm not saying this for any other reason because you know how I am. I'll tell you fucking straight up, dude. I just love you, man.

I think that... I think that God puts people in our lives for a reason. And I think that we've crossed paths.

Paul's, right? But I think that God or whoever you pray to, whatever you're into, that's who I connect with, puts people in our lives. And you've left a big impact on my life. And it's been more of the example and the ability to hold fast on an example that you set.

You know, he's so good.

I'm just, it's so impressive.

you know, you've done a lot for me and that's great. You greatly appreciate it. And I hope I reciprocate that. But more importantly, man, it's the example that you've set. It's the efficiency that you are and your word, man. It's just, it's cool to see from our hometown and, you know, peers and traveling amongst different circles, that level of integrity and that level of example.

So like you're literally, you get your license, you're sold on this idea that real estate is the way this, the, the way to wealth.

Um, you're probably, if I'm not mistaken, cause this is what I've seen. And on the recruiting side is, you know, you're sold all these promises and all these, we can do this and we can do that. And then, and then when you got into the office that you were at, what the landscaping, you know, I know, but for, for our listeners, what was the landscape like when, what was the office like?

What did you have your own office? Um,

Yeah, hopefully you survive.

And then you quickly saw how, you know what I mean, where you could, I guess, utilize your relationship businesses and customer service, your relationship skills and your customer service skills in high-end fashion, urban fashion stores across the country into, hey, I'm going to deal with somebody's largest transaction of the house,

We're going to go ahead and be more of a concierge to them and take care of our clients and market as well. What was the time, the pivot, the moment that stuff shifted for you in those early days of your career that kind of catapulted you to the direction you went into now?

How are you doing, brother? Good, brother. Thank you. Thanks. I appreciate you inviting me on today. Absolutely. Real quick, not that most people listening don't know, but I'm going to give you a little quick introduction. Brandon has been in real estate for a little bit over 20 years. He's a

And I know this is not to cut you off, but I know this is coming from not a space of, Hey, I'm your boo boo. Let me pump you up. But I know how hard she worked.

Right. I love that, man. Cause you know, and I know you're in the middle of something, but dude, uh, you know, my gym story and everybody knows that I was at the other, another gym and supposed to buy it, got fired, did the walk of shame, came home with a sad face. And my savage wife, girlfriend at the time.

She was like, dude, you're not, that's not the Brandon Hudson I know. And then ultimately here we are in my studio. So, but anyway, that was your breaking point, right?

won all of the awards, been the, who is who, if you know him, if you look him up, got a, uh, top five, sometimes number one, sometimes number three podcast, you know, wake up the wealth, um, on Spotify, uh,

So that leads me into that second year. You know, you got humbled the first year. You know, a lot of people don't know that. A lot of people think it was, you know, whatever. And then that second year, you know, you pulled your bootstraps up. You know what I mean? You went to work. What was that? You went through these pains and things like that. You know, what was that year like?

You know, how many, I mean, I know the long hours you slept in office, right?

And you guys weren't just business partners. You were friends.

Yeah. The first thing you can tell when somebody's lying is you think you're going to make this immense wealth all fucking 40 hours a week.

Motherfucker, you're not going to make six figures or more at 40 hours a week.

But don't be posting these motivational quotes. You're fucking trapping, dog. You're not trapping.

But the reality here on Sundays.

We were here this past Sunday. It was what holiday week, holiday week and you were here Sunday.

And they're insane.

I'm insane. They have a level of insanity to us that separates us from the rest. Yeah. And if you're not willing to go out here and do things that are different from every fucking body in your circle, you're not really truly here to change the world or change your world. Right.

So, and one of the things that you've said, and I love this man is, you know, entrepreneurship is about how much pain you're willing to tolerate. If you think it's just about money and that's your main, why you'll lose and you've got a scarcity mindset. Yeah. but no, excuse me. You've got a limited belief system. It is a scarcity mindset. You're right.

But I meant to say, you've got a limited belief system on that because now you're limiting yourself to just money. Money's a tool. Money leverages you to be able to do the things like setting up your family and so forth.

You know what, um, You know what we never hear anybody talk about anymore? We never hear anybody talk about how my daddy's daddy's daddy used to do this and used to do that. That's a thing that's gone. If you're seasoned like you and I and you were at the family functions or sitting around my mom and pop pop, you would always hear things about your daddy's daddy.

And in some households, you would see a picture of your great, great, great grandfather or something. And there's a lot of people that talk about this, but there's always that one person that changes the whole dynamic for a successful family. Right. They made the choices and so forth. And for for me. Right. Something that's very fucking important for me is is legacy. right?

I love money and I love success and I love all the things that come with it, but leaving a legacy behind. And I'm not talking about no fucking monument built or no, no name after, you know, of a street or a highway I'm talking about. I want to leave so much digital content.

I want to have so many, so much impact on my family and the people that I care about that I sat there and I changed that for generations to come. Now, four generations later is when they fuck up the money. Statistically speaking, they say, I want four or five generations to have a picture of me in their household.

Do you understand the flex and the power play that is to be able to be the only Hudson that sat here and did that? And then all of my grandkids and all of my kin can sit there and revert back to my digital content that I've got forever. They'll be able to see and look how I did it. And they'll be able to refer to me.

Those are the reasons why I'm able and willing to wake up on a Sunday, go to work sick, do 20 or do 14, 15 hour days, just push myself to the limits because that why right there trumps money, vacations, anything else that you can never put the price on.

whatever it is, you're proving everybody wrong.

yeah i mean you're not seeing you're not necessarily seeing it every day well it i equate that to the fight world man like brazilian jiu-jitsu for instance is one of the greatest and shittiest sports to ever be part of because uh you're in it and it's it changes everything but what happens is when you show up every single day you know over five six days a week you know you're doing training sessions you're learning the same material you're learning new material all the above

You're getting smashed. You're smashing people. You don't see your improvements, right? That's why, you know, say what you want. That's why the striping system is done and the belting system is done the way it is. Pretty uniform across the board is because your instructor will recognize things, decisions you're making, ways that your body's moving, things that you're not doing.

He or she doesn't give a fuck about how many people get tapped in a training session. They're noticing the little things that when you're in the thick of things, you have no clue. Some of the biggest promotions that I've gotten in jujitsu came from nights I got my fucking ass handed to me. And I'm like, I don't deserve this right now. Is this a pity stripe? But it was like, no.

And as I got more versed into the game and been in the business longer, I've understood that they weren't looking at how this guy tapped me. They were looking about how he set up the tap three or four or five moves before he got the tap, right? And how I positioned and forced him to pivot on those different things.

to your point of 10 years ago with decisions that you were making, that's what that added up to me. And I know personally things that you've done that no one knows about that have added to that decision-making process, added to that integrity and character building that most people will never know about.

But again, it adds those layers and adds the shield and the badges to your uniform because, you know, you make one good decision here, you make another good decision here, you build off that momentum, right? And, I always take it back to the fight game. When momentum is you, when you're, when you have the momentum, when you have the juice, you have to double down harder than you ever heart.

Go on vacation. Yeah.

Well, the worst person to take advice from is a person who just got a million dollars, right? Because once that person gets a million dollars, they, they, they, they back up and stop doing the things that got them a million dollars.

And in the fight business, like for gyms, right? So what a lot of guys and gals don't realize is you're going to have that hat of a room full of lions, the most active fighters, the ones that are winning, the ones that are champions, right? And you don't get to keep that hat. That hat...

passes from gym to gym to gym to gym to the course of business to the course of the fight world right and what happens is is some people that get the hat right what hap they they they think that the hat is special and that they got the hat because they're special not because of all the work they did 10 years ago or all the deposits they made daily and all the things that they were working hard toward they think that all of a sudden that they're separate from everybody else for that moment you are but you just have the hat where everything's working everything's clicking people are winning people are doing their thing

what you do with the hat is what's going to matter for the longevity of your business and for the longevity of what people see you doing with your business. So when you're winning and when you're doubling down and you, when you're on that momentum, that's when you've got to really go all in or what works and not go outside of what is different.

It doesn't mean you can't make some different choices or different investments or or strategies, of course, every level has its own devils. But at the end of the day, don't fall back from what got you there when you had that momentum, double down on momentum, because the hat's going to pass. And then the hat's going to go to somewhere else.

And some people take the hat and they think it's all about them. And they're the king and the queen. And that's the demise of their business. They can never recover from that. But the momentum is big, man. Like we see so many people that come in here and, you know, in the sales world and, you know, they have a great few months and

you know, and, and all of a sudden they just forget and, and, and they forget about the pipeline. Yeah. They get sloppy on their business and stuff like that. And it's mind boggling to me. And I think it's because honestly, I think it's because people really, I think in a way you have to go through that, but you have to go through that within reason, right?

Like you have to have a level of that where you experience it so that you know what broke feels like again after you've made money. But at the same time, you know, you have to have the good mentorship and the good examples in front of you to sit here and say, look, motherfucker, This ain't gonna last, you know, winter's coming. You know what I mean?

Winter's coming, you know, just like, you know, so many other industries, winter's coming. So you better fucking stack away your chitlins and stack away your shit now so that you're going to be all right.

I'm going to tell you another form of victimhood that people don't think about is, is when you hang around people that do nothing but yes, man. And yes, yes, ma'am.

Right. Because you're, you're actually running from those people that'll be straightforward with you. And we know some people that whenever somebody all of a sudden is straightforward with them, they get cut off. Right.

if you're constantly seeking the people around you to sit here and yes man you and agree with you all the time i think that's a form of victimhood in itself because you're not really putting yourself into a vulnerable position to be afraid of accountability and then here's the other thing about people that are willing to call you out on your right you don't get to keep them yeah

Great people special people that come along in your life.

You don't get to keep you don't gotta fucking there's an expiration date on that relationship There's a time and plates when they're gonna move on or other things are gonna happen or acts of God are gonna happen Where though those people are no longer in your life You better fucking hold on to those people and accept every single fucking conversation that you get with them good bad or indifferent You know and I'll tell you something even farther than that

appreciate the mistakes that those people make yeah so you don't have to make them yeah the mentors and the people that hold you accountable they're gonna not make they're nobody's perfect they're gonna make mistakes too you know the the the part of the victimhood in this in this society and in this culture we live in is is the minute you know somebody does something wrong everybody's so quick to be a a jury on social media or a jury inside the gossip groups

And they just dismiss people. Yo, none of us are fucking perfect. We're all going to make mistakes. Those motherfuckers that are sitting here holding you accountable and having those hard conversations with you and telling you the shit that your little yes mans won't.

You know, those are the motherfuckers that you got to stay fucking next to through thick and thin, ride out the storm and hold on to the people so much because they are not going to be here forever.

Yeah, dude. Like one of the words that I hate or phrases I hate the most is financial freedom. Cause no fucking, there's no, there's no such thing as financial freedom, right? There's every, there's always a bigger table in Vegas. There's always a bigger room. There's always, you know, there's always somebody. Absolutely.

And your reputation will catch up with you.

that yep your reputation will catch up people will not forget you over them or over somebody they knew and the minute you because look when you come into that circle when you come to the top and hey that's a guarded circle not to cut you off on this but what people don't get or understand is you might get away with it for a certain period of time but guess what

One thing I've noticed with you, you know, in the time we've done business together and worked with you, is your ability to build relationships is like no other. Yeah. And what I think, what I know is, is the reason being is because you're very transparent. You're very straightforward. And you're, you're one of these motherfuckers, dude.

So financial freedom is a, is a fucking bullshit word that you get, you hear all the time. And when I'm recruiting people and talking to people, that's the first thing they want to say, I wanted to break the generational curse and have generational wealth and financial freedom and all these things. terms that just get loosely put out there.

And people underestimate this so much is the truth is always the easiest route to anywhere. When, when, when you're telling the truth to people. It's fucking gold, man. And so many business owners and entrepreneurs want to dance around the truth. They dance around the truth with their clients. They dance around the truth with their employees. They dance around the truth with investors.

They want to dance around the truth and try to fuck it. Look, sometimes... The truth might not be the most favorable outcome to convey to someone, but because the truth was there and it was transparent, and even if it had holes in it, a person will do business and give you a shot because they say, okay, cool. Well, these are the, and these are the challenges we can overcome.

But so many people want to paint this lily white picture and you're not one of those. You're one of those guys.

Yeah. And they wonder why, like nobody wants to do business with them in the end. And look, you're going to rip off a handful of people and then you're going to rip off and scam another handful. But eventually, like you said, it's going to catch up with you, dude. And that's why I'm big on you. Like I stay in my own lane.

I don't focus on trying to get, you know, I've been at a lot of meetings and rooms and tables and stuff like that, that For the time that I was there, I didn't, you know, it wasn't my time to be there, but I just, you know, I got the chance to be a fly on the wall. I got the chance to be in the seat, stay in my lane. You know, I don't need to be the loud mouth at the table.

I have no problem with taking over a room and running my mouth and all that. But right there at that moment, I'm playing my position and playing my part and staying true to myself because. That's just going to pay off in the end.

And then they watch social media and they watch people that they, they watch the end result, the, the, the, the cars and they don't have no clue. They have no clue about the process. And the biggest thing that I'm, I'm always digging deep on is trying to find like, why the fuck do you want to do this?

And that's business. Like business is the same way. Business is not about transactions and relationships, two different things. A hundred percent. And business is not just transactional. It's about relationship. It's about giving, I'm giving you a service. I'm giving you a product.

I'm giving you what I have to offer in hopes that I can gain, give you value so that you'll repeat business with me, that you will pass my referral along. So you will, you know, give me a good review, whatever the case may be. It's all about giving. And it's funny.

You said, you know, those people that go into those rooms, we see them all the time and they'll go into the room and they try to pitch every single fucking person that could be in there.

And you don't have another chance. Once you're spotted and you're kicked out of that room, you don't get back in.

You don't get back in. Yeah, that's it. Like you've lost your chance because you're so thirsty. It's kind of like dudes sending fucking chicks dick pics and shit. It's like this is going to be the way that I'm going to get her. Right. Come on, guy. Or, you know, they slide to the DMs as if, you know, their DMs are flooded anyway. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Yeah.

you know i i can tell you my story but i sit back at the gym all the time and i just hear countless stories of similar guys like like that that are so thirsty they can't help themselves but going for the kill and everybody talks about them and bro listen um the that you do not out and i'm you know we're not here to get in your business but

Like this, this is not like people think they start your own businesses and go on entrepreneurship journeys for like a better time or a better schedule, more time on her plate and all that. And it's the last thing in the world that you're going to get, you know, you're, we're never off.

you know, I'm sorry, I'm different. I do judge you and I am in your business. You know, I want to know every fucking thing about you. I want to know everything about you. I wouldn't know what you do. I don't want, I don't want any fucking, I don't want leaky, any leaky ships. So, you know, at the end of the day, how you do your life and govern your house is your business.

I want to know, you know, I heard a couple of entrepreneurs talking to a podcast and it's a high level one. And what he does is when he goes to get into business with people, you know, or hire him or bring him on. He tells them up front in an interview, he's like, hey, I'm going to do it. We're going to hire a private investigator.

And we're going to see, you know, we're talking about billions of dollars. Yeah, he said, hey, and you're welcome to do it on me as well. But we're going to do a private investigator just to kind of see what's going on.

And what happens, he said, is when they get to the, once the report comes back, they don't judge them, but they have a conversation with him because, hey, he might have it wrong and we can have a conversation with him. But that's a deter, that's going to determine if they're going to be in business with you or not. That's, Pretty, pretty do. I like that one.

to put in the work to do it i agree i think it's uh it's just a matter of choose your heart man and you know you can go choose your heart for somebody else you can go choose your heart for you know however many years or decades but you take your time and you actually double down and lock in for 10 years or 20 years and then it matches you a lifetime of wealth it was all worth it you know but you got to go all in man can't be a

Well, there's no there's no there's no shame in tapping out. I mean, just just tap out and say you're not for those athletes that you mentioned. Right. Like all of them faced incredible adversity. Right. Like Jordan was cut from his high school team. Brady was like, you know, down the line on the draft picks the last person drafted. Yep. Kobe actually had I read a statistic on him.

He actually had like the most missed shots. Yeah. So, you know, you got a 50 percent shooting percentage. Right. That's nobody looks at that fact. They look at the ones that he make and all the other shit. And, you know, the difference between those guys and other high performing entrepreneurs and people that are obsessed is is they don't back down from adversity. Right.

We see so many people that the first time they fucking get slapped around in a deal, they bitch up. I have so many people coming to our gym. In general. In general. I have so many people coming to my gym wanting to be a fighter, right? It's the first thing everybody says, I want to be a fighter. I want to be a fighter. And they swear that they're going to get in here.

And I mean, I got people that I've trained and have moved on and I watched them just for one thing that pisses me off. I watch how these guys just hold pads for a new fighter, right? And what people don't understand is in that world, there's so many intricacies when you're holding pads.

And I don't like holding pads, right? But I know how to. And the holding pad side of it is, are we just holding pads and let people fucking throw hands and just shots and just feel good? Are we looking about the way they're sitting down on their punches or their hands up and they bring it back to their face or their chin down?

These boring ass, redundant ass things that you have to do in order to be successful in that world. that I'll watch these videos and like, you'll see these guys just fucking up constantly posting this shit and celebrating it like on social media, like everybody's winning. And then the average person sees that shit like, I need to go hit pads. I want to be a fighter.

I want to jump into the cage now and do this shit. And they have no clue. Like, dude, the shit that you see in the cage, the fight, the blood and all that, that's probably the easiest part of that whole process that they have to go through.

The most important part.

No, it's a lonely, lonely island you're on when you're an entrepreneur, because in the beginning, everybody's rooting for you and proud of you and happy for you. And they've got you and you're the underdog. Right. And then all of a sudden you're in the thick of things. Yeah. And you're in the thick of things. Right.

And then the minute you start becoming a threat or the minute you start posing a little bit of difference, differences than the rest, then all of a sudden, you know, here comes a little subliminal. Hey, no little shots. I don't know what you're doing. Yeah.

that yeah all that bullshit right and then and then all of a sudden at the end you know you hear about it well we knew you could do it the whole time but in that in the trenches time frame dude you are so fucking lonely right you're so lonely because no one understands you no one is going you know you're you're pouring into so much and so many people no one gets it right and then

the reciprocation of the expectation, whether it be just, Hey, support me in my journey, or, you know, I'm giving you all this fucking knowledge, all this mentorship, all these resources, just do the fucking work. When you get that let down on the reciprocation side of it, it just pushes you even farther and farther in that lonely, lonely road. And most people can't get over that.

Brandon, most people, when you were talking about the entrepreneur journey, they stop there and give up there.

Parental advisory.

And that includes sometimes the closest people to you. You know what I mean? Because, you know, look, a real leader, a real leader has to lead everybody. They can't just lead their businesses. They can't just lead their families. Right. There are so many people that are leaders. And then there's so many people that are leaders amongst leaders. Right.

And there's a very few amount of individuals that are leaders amongst leaders. Right. Because they understand that I have to lead my organization just as well and just as equivalent to how I lead my household, just as equivalent to how I lead my friendships and all of the things that I have in the spokes on the wheel that I have in my life. I've got to fucking be a leader to everybody.

I can't be a leader in my comfort zone and the things that I'm just good at. And that's the difference, right? We see it all the time. You know, you see people, you see, you know, realtors, you see brokerages, you see in any industry. Yeah. where they're just leading what they're used to, their little organization, their little cave, the things that they're doing or bigger cave.

But then when you talk about their personal life or you talk about other things, they're falling flat on their ass because they don't transmute those values that they have in business or they don't transmit those skills that they need to, or they fail when they're all lonely and they take that in and they start thinking that the world is against them.

You have to step up and understand the bigger picture when it comes to all of leadership is that it's just not where you're at. It's your your place of genius that you're a leader. You're a leader in every single aspect of your life because all eyes are on you. Right.

And the minute you start getting pushed around and knocked around, then that's where your leadership skills are really going to come to surface. And we're going to see like what you're really made of. You know, another thing that really fucking pisses me off. Back to your point. it's people that want to try and vet the wheel, reinvent the wheel, right? They want to come in.

Yeah. Very simple. Yeah. Like follow the blueprint. Yeah. Like people want to come into something they're new and they're all excited in that first six months. And then after that first six months, they get pushed around a little bit. It's not what they thought they have to do the work.

Well, and that also helps you go from when you had those thousand dollar problems to $50,000 problems to be able to- Same problems. Same problems, but now you're expanding your comfort zone. And now you've got million dollar problems because you had to get through those thousands and through those 50,000s, which attributes to the fear and to the uncomfort.

And all the things when you got kicked in the face and things like that, that- It doesn't stop, by the way. No.
