Damascus is calm, but there were these huge plumes of smoke rising from buildings that were hit by heavy bombardments by Israel, who's been targeting military positions of the former regime. So the air was thick with this kind of acrid dust and it catches in your throat. We saw people wandering around into security bases and palaces. And these are places they couldn't have stepped inside before.

Chapter 3: What is the extradition case of Luigi Mangione?

26-year-old Luigi Mangione wore an orange jumpsuit as police led him to a seat in the courtroom. His wrists and ankles were restrained. Mangione tried to speak up at one point in the hearing, but his lawyer, Thomas Dickey, turned around and said, quote, Dickey told the court they want a hearing on Mangione's extradition.

The Blair County District Attorney's Office says it's in the process of getting a governor's warrant from New York. The court gave the state 30 days, during which time Mangione plans to contest extradition. Boeing announced the resumption of production to its plan and rent in Washington near Seattle. Both the MAX and another plane, the 787 Dreamliner, have had manufacturing problems in recent years.
