A physician sought medical care, stating that she was having a stroke, which was indeed accurate. However, her attending physician did not believe her. Fortunately, her friend and mother, both of whom are also physicians, advocated for her care. As a result, she was treated adequately, and her medical condition was eventually confirmed. This is a clear case of medical gaslighting. Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse where a person causes someone to question their sanity, memories, or perception of reality. People who experience gaslighting may feel confused, anxious, or unable to trust themselves.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/conspiracy-theories-exploring-the-unseen--5194379/support.
