The Federal Aviation Administration says the Cessna 310 went down after departing from Boca Raton Airport, bound for Tallahassee. Local police say the crash happened near highway overpass and railroad tracks, which prompted multiple road closures as emergency crews rushed to the scene. The plane caught fire, sending thick black smoke into the air. Firefighters were on the scene battling the blaze.
