I'm correct. I think I was still a teenager. I was in junior high school when he got locked up. I got a lot of memories of him. On Christmas time, him and the family, we all used to get together, sit around, Thanksgiving, eat, whatever.

He was a hardworking guy. See, we only got a chance to see him here and there because he's always at work. But it's been a long time since I really... Sit down with him. It's been over 50 years. Close to 50 years.

Other than that, it's beautiful for me just to hear his voice. And it brings joy to me every time when I hear him. But I hate for him to hang up and say, well, I got to go now. And every time he says, I got to go now. And then he hits the click. That's it. So I'll just be waiting for his next call.

This time last year, I was down to 130 pounds. I'm just now starting to get my weight back. The medicine I'm taking is prolonging it right now. The medicine just slows it down, that's all. I figured in a couple years, I might not be here. I don't know. I don't know. So just thank God every day is my birthday. When he wakes me up, I say, thank God.

It's just like the time when my daddy started saying about the Eagles, I can't wait until they win their first championship. But he died a year before that they won it. So, you know, so I wanted to see him before something happened to me.
