And I'll never forget the first thing he said was, he's like, honey, he's like, there's this baby. And I remember I was in the kitchen, I just stopped. And I was like, and I could tell by his tone that something, this was significant, there was something. So he proceeded to tell me that there was a baby recovered off an objective, you know, parents were killed.

And they don't know what they're going to do with this baby. And so I had a similar reaction to him. I was like, well, we'll volunteer. We can do it. We'll help and take the baby if there's nothing we can do. There's nothing that can be done if she doesn't... At that time, we didn't know if it was a boy or a girl. But like... You can't leave a baby there.

So a couple weeks in, like he mentioned, we get our very first photo. And we call it now, we call it the baby in the box. And that was the first time we learned that she was a girl and got to see her for the first time. But up until that point, when I got that initial call initially, And I debated whether or not, I mean, the boys were early, or they were pretty young at the time.
