They're lovely things and they're really fascinating. And they generally they just sort of hunker down and they they're OK with you doing it. And that is all you do. You just wear gloves. You simply just pick it up, put it in your bucket and then move it across the road. Frogs are a little bit more tricky because they tend to leap away. So you need a bit more of a technique.

There's at least sort of 50 or so patrollers, toad patrollers, and they have their hivers on and they have their buckets and they wander down the road and just wait for the toads and amphibians to come. And they tend to come on slightly warm, damp evenings. So that's the best time. And sometimes it's just remarkable. There's just so many all over the place. Wherever you look, there's a toad.
