They went to their friends. They're all golfers, right? All their friends are golfers. So they started handing out gummies to them, hoping they would buy it. But, you know, nothing ever happened.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
It was a failure. I say it was a failure, but it was a great idea on paper. But me as a woman heading it, I mean, I met with everyone I possibly could and I failed. I failed getting the funding too.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
Cameron really let me down there because he doesn't know when you collateralize properties on your personal properties, it's dangerous. And I did it just to prove that I love him and he told me to let it all go and I couldn't because my parents lived in this home that it was collateralized on and they had no idea that I did that.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
We could have endless hours of conversation. I've never felt anything like what I was with Cameron. It was like a fairy tale.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
It's a real sickening thing, actually. I'm very lucky, like, to the sickening point. Like, the last second, everything comes together.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
He gave me the money for it and he said, I want you to get a license so that we can do business together. Because he knew I had something. So I said, okay. So that's when I applied for my license.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
I learned about all of his clients because he always introduced me to everybody. I didn't take over his company, but I did have my own office right next to his of my own company. And he encouraged me to do it as well.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
So King Family Lending, I had to because Cameron was supposed to take care of all the cannabis business, right? I set him up with everybody. I paid for everything and he couldn't make it work.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
That's when he told me, he's like, I have no money. All my watches are fake. I have nothing to my name. So if that's what you're interested in, like, please just walk. I have my own money, so I didn't need his. He came clean about everything, saying I have a lot of baggage. I have three ex-wives. I have kids. I have, you know, this whole gamut of issues.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
I had full intention of paying Manna back. I would never hurt her. She was really kind to me.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
She handed me a plastic baggie full of like four diamond rings and a diamond bracelet and said, this should be enough to cover the $100,000 loan. And I said, no, it's fucking not. You have to have double the collateral for me to give you the loan. But because she was my friend, I gave her the loan and she ended up paying back just fine.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
And I have no money, but I want to make something of myself. And I said, well, let's try and do that. Let's start a business. That was the night he first kissed me at the bar at the montage in Beverly Hills.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
I borrowed $25,000 from her, and I had an AP watch that was worth it, so it wasn't a problem.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
I can sell anything. I can sell fire to the devil. I promise you that.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
A lot of the collateral was just in my office in a safe. I did not take good care of collateral. That is 100% true. But every, you know, it was safe anyways. A lot of people had cars. A lot of people had boats. So if it was a car, I'm supposed to take the car and take the title. But I never took the car, right? I just took the title.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
Oh my God, I was head over heels for this guy. Are you kidding me? It was like, you know, I didn't ever felt any of that with my husband, my first husband. So it felt like we knew each other for years and it felt like something out of a movie. It felt like when I was watching a rom-com because it was that intense and that passionate.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
Brian Quinn needed that watch all of a sudden because he owed all these people money. I had no money, so I said, well, if Manna has my watch, and he gave me a fake one to give to her in exchange.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
In my opinion, like, I always intended on paying her, so it wasn't, like, the biggest deal.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
She found out it was fake and she flipped her noodle. And she's, you know, threatening me, suing me. And I said, look, it's not my fault. I don't want to say it's not my fault because it is. I agreed with Brian, let's go ahead and do this. So yeah, I fucked up there. But I knew I was always going to pay her.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
All of a sudden, her lawyers are coming at me and whatnot, and I said, whatever it's cost Manna to make this lawsuit happen, whatever she thinks I owe her, I'll pay it.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
He had said to me one morning, I forget what it is, but he said, you know, you're not a supermodel, it's just a fact. And ever since he had said that to me, I was like, wow, that's really real in his circumstances because he's dated the real deal, the real supermodels.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
He said, what do you do? Do you do deals on a chalkboard downstairs in the basement?
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
So I said, yeah, I do, actually. So do you want to be involved? And he goes, OK, lady mafia. And he did a loan and it went great.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
Love, love that whole thing because I'm totally all about the mafia. I love everything mafia. I love every movie mafia, everything. I've always been fascinated with mafia because I love the power moves. I've always tried to be the girl who sits at the guy table.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
Ever since then, I just, I had, I already have low self-esteem. So the fact that that happened to me, when he said that, it just, it was always in the back of my head. Any super hot girl in the room, I would get paranoid and jealous and upset. And so everything basically that Gerard did not have, I saw in Cameron that he had. And that just blinded me to the bad parts.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
All I know is he did come to me with a notice of indictment, and he asked me for help.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
I was never like the pretty girl sitting at the table. That's how she got things done. I was the smartest. So, you know, that was important to me in business.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
Cannabis is something that when it was coming legal, I was like, OK, well, Cameron wanted to do vapes. But there was two buildings to buy and I bought those for Cameron because he said he wanted to run this business.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
I don't know what's going on with weed. I don't smoke it. I don't grow it. I don't do anything. I was the real estate piece. That's what I came in. I wanted Cameron to love me so badly that I was like, okay, I'll get the building for you. I'll do whatever it takes.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
He told me he had a friend who would pay $250,000, which would have been the down payment on the building.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
The night before that, the guy calls me and says, I don't trust Cameron, I don't want to give him the money, I'm not going to give you guys the money, and I'm just losing my mind because I'm supposed to go to escrow the next day and sign the paperwork. Cameron was, you know, just very defeated after his friend wouldn't pay the money to invest. He told me, just let it go, who cares, just quit.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
So I go into escrow the next day on a Friday and I sign the paperwork saying that my people just sent the money too late. I totally lied. It was not true. I just was like, OK, it buys me one week to find a lender.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
I said, hey, Brian, like, I need my money back.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
When the food came to the table, he would serve me first. He was just very elegant about the way he handled things, very nice to all the wait staff. Cameron was the total opposite of her ex, which is what she needed. That night, nothing happened. I just said, okay, well, good night. But I felt it. At that moment, I felt I was excited. I had the feeling that this could actually be something.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
Look really pretty when you go to meet him, but he'll give you the money.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
So it was a Sunday at the Beverly Hills Tennis Club, and I was in white jeans and a tight red sweater. So I walked in, sat down, and I said, I need $250,000. And he said, go fuck yourself, kid. And I actually ordered a glass of whiskey on the rocks there. And I said, no, I really fucking need the money. Like, I need to do this building. And he kept telling me, no, no, no.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
And so I drank my whiskey, I left, and I called him for two days in a row.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
And he said, I love who you are, you're just like me, I want to mentor you, and I'll do your loan. That's how I got it.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
Cameron's investor's gone. COVID's hitting. There was no more funding. Everyone promised they had funding, and no one did.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
He wanted to make gummy bears, these stupid fucking gummy bears.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
He spends $50,000 on pre-made gummies, and then we have just a bunch of fucking gummies in a trash bag. I'm like, well, that's not going to sell.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
I mean, it's not a factory, right? This is like a beautiful kitchen. And yeah, they basically packaged everything. We had these big, just huge boxes to throw them into.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 3. Sell Fire to the Devil
Cameron never sold one package. And when Cameron gave up, my parents were like, what the fuck are we going to do with all this?
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
The LA Beverly Hills loan shark guy, like big time. He isolates you from everyone that you know and just depend on him. He kind of got me on board to do whatever he wanted. And as soon as I ran out of money, he's gone. He's kind of a scary guy. He's not, he's no joke.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
Yeah, no, absolutely. I absolutely did do loans. So yeah.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
I started to panic. And actually, when I finally told, you know, I told Cameron, I'm like, this is what's going on. Like, I don't know how to handle it. And that's when he said, okay, you're good at these thoughts, win back. Because he's seen me win tons of money on them. So I said, okay.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
you kind of go down this rabbit hole. You know, I told you, my dad's quote to me is, winning isn't everything, it's the only thing. And so you get competitive against a stupid machine, and you should know better than to gamble against the house. Like, it doesn't ever pay off, ever.

The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
I meet this guy named John McCabe.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
The guy is Mr. Hawaii. I walked on his boat with Brian Quinn. It was Brian Quinn who introduced me to him. Go figure.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
He had this, you know, this little hat on and he's just in his like board shorts and flip flops and t-shirt.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
And he's, you know, really nice. Him and his assistant, really nice people. And they said, come down into this, like, deck area.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
John McCabe says he owns this huge farm in Hawaii of marijuana. And he wants to buy the buildings and put it together with his, you know, company in Hawaii and build something big.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
He had a boat. I met him on a boat, okay? So he said, it's his boat. I'm thinking, okay, you got a boat, you got money. Like, okay.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
He was very excited when he learned I had a lending license.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
And he said, I found your buyers, you just don't know it. And at the time, I was so desperate. I mean, I literally was at the last stage of, I mean, I almost lost absolutely everything that I believed in.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
And when the buildings were not selling, John McCabe said, I have this idea in Hawaii. Let's partner your buildings with my project and we'll go and sell it. So we started doing that.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
He's very good at meeting people. He met all sorts of people in Orange County. And he went from, oh, you don't want to invest in cannabis? Well, we have a lending company. Well, we, you know, it's, where do you want to put it?
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
We need your money kind of thing. So that's kind of how I started was just talking to people, just letting them know what I did. But as a female, it sounds ridiculous, but it's really, really hard.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
So he started getting people to invest that he said it was his company.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
Oftentimes, you're looking at a guy in Newport Beach who, God knows what he wants, 20 grand for, right? Between 20,000 and 100,000 they usually need. And they gave me a Rolex worth 40. I gave him 20 grand. I don't ask the questions. I don't want to know what's happening.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
Some guys would hand me their wives Birkin bags and jewelry, and they said, just, I have to get it back within a month time. And I said, okay, in one month, you know, you're going to pay 30% on the money, big time money. Like, these guys have boats and whatnot. Now they're poor all of a sudden.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
So they gave me the little assets, and I literally gave them the cash for half the value and charged them 30%. So why would people okay with paying 30%?
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
I will say that people do it because they're struggling for cash. Like, I don't do a credit check. If you give me assets to hold that are worth the money, I will give you the cash without a question. And that's a huge deal. That's what made my whole business, you know, work to begin with.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
John McCabe was like, oh, I have a lot of guys who want to do loans. And I started doing some just shady ass loans.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
He would tell me that these people owe him money. They're just going to use my account because he doesn't want to use cash because of his business. I said, remember, I'm a fixer, right? So I said, no problem. So he uses the account. I gave him, I cashed out the money for him and I never see it again. And I'm on the hook for owing people money.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
I had like a hundred bucks left to my name, right? So I'd go to the store, I'd buy, I'd put a hundred dollars on the scratchers.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
I take the scratchers to my office and I'm like in tears, but I'm scratching and I'm winning, winning, winning. And I get the call that we've sold the buildings and it was just amazing.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
When I finally found buyers for the building, he said, oh, those are my people. So I felt loyal to him. I was in such a stage of failure, I want to say, from the buildings. At the time, my income was just terrible that I believed him. I felt like he was there for me the whole time.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
We started needing all these big-time investments, right? So that's when I started funding a lot of things. He buttered me up. He would come every day to my house and be my best friend. But John McCabe was unfindable.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
I was losing big money and I had to sell them as fast as I could. So it was a nightmare. That's really when this nightmare number two happened and I met an even bigger crook in the whole world.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 4. “Cut up into Little Pieces”
The first five or six loans, there absolutely was, and everything was totally cool and fine. And it just turned out that they never got paid back, so I had to try and fix that money.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
But I then I realized, so this is probably what, March, I think. And I'm like, I need to go to rehab. Like, this is I'm not OK. Like, I'm not OK. Something is very wrong if my mentality is where it is. So I went to rehab.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
I tell you what, actually. So it isn't horrible. It was really, it was a fancy one in L.A.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
They were very rude to me, a lot of the people. And I'm just like, really? It was a big fight. So I have my dog with me, and somebody snapped at me and said something, one of the people who worked there. And I don't deal with that. I'm not a bigger person by any means. I'm the snapback.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
And so I did, and I told the head of the rehab, like, this guy shouldn't be making me feel unsafe and shouldn't be judging me based on certain things.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
And so I actually said, I'm leaving. I'm checking myself out. You know, when you check yourself out, they put all your stuff on the sidewalks. And they don't give you a chance to call on you, but they have nothing. You just have to shut the door. And you're like, I'm sitting in the canyon in Hollywood on my box of clothes with my dog. And my cell phone is, there's no service where we are.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
And I'm like, how am I going to, how the fuck am I going to get out of here? And there's like coyotes howling. My poor little dog is in my lap.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
And I texted a driver who I used to use, and I said, I have no money. I'm stuck here in Hollywood. I have to get to my apartment. And he came and picked me up. Everybody knows, and I take care of everyone, but they know I'm good for it. Eventually, I will get it done. And he picked me up and took me to my apartment.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
And that same night, I went downstairs from my apartment to Tessie, the restaurant, and had a bunch of wine because I was, you know, just over it. And, yeah, it was like the next couple days where I realized, I got to get the hell out of here. Like, this is not going to turn out okay. You know, this is not okay at all.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
I was just mortified. I thought I could be kicked out any minute. Are they going to kick me out like the wind kicked me out? I mean, after everything I went through, it was just really, really tough.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
I finally returned a text to my mom saying, you know what? There's a huge problem. There's a big misunderstanding for everything. Please don't believe the media. Please talk to me. And so what happened is, is my mom got on the phone. We talked about it. I, you know, I, like I said, I, I explained everything from start to finish about, you know, the past three years of my life.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
She basically said, okay, I'm going to, you know, I'll get you an apartment in Irvine just to get you close to home. So my, it was actually my parents who found this studio apartment and had me move in. You know, my dad drove up to LA. He paid for the movers to drive my stuff down to Irvine. And from then on, I've just been with them.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
It was traumatic for me because there's no trust right now. They don't know what to think, if I'm saying the truth, if the media is true. And so basically, it just became a day by day of me telling them the whole entire story, of which I've told you, proving facts that I, you know, I alleged.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
It all started with my mom saying, like, if you didn't do this, if you're not at fault 100%, then you go to the FBI. And I was like, take me, drive me, go now. So she drove me to the FBI offices in Orange County.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
No, I mean, it's not really a nuance.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
There's the elevator has to be, you know, you have to be called up by the elevator. There's nobody working. There's no like reception area. It's just like you can't get up. So I went there twice. Sarah figured out another way in. So I wrote a letter to the attorney general and I said, here's my situation. Here's my case. I need help because this isn't true.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
I have tons and tons of conversations with people who had threatened my life and said, I'll kill you. I'll kill your family. Even after this whole thing went down, I would get weird, weird things sent to my address, my home address, like Batman stuffed animals and all sorts of weird stuff. So I know they're out there. I know they can watch me. These guys have been in prison for 20 years.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
And this isn't, you know, I started pinpointing my arguments of the case. And she got a response. The FBI reached out like three days later, four days later. And they said, come to our offices, come meet with us so we can talk about your case.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
I went in, I thought I was going to get arrested. I was terrified, terrified. And they're like, we have no intention of arresting you. And so the whole story, which is what I've told on this podcast. And they told me you need an attorney. And I said, I can afford one. So they appointed a great attorney. I have the best attorney. I love him.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
And they said, you know, we'll get your attorney appointed and we'll go through this process. Because I said, I don't want your machine guns coming to my house. I don't need the whole hoorah. I just let me know. I'll show up when you need me to show up. And that's what happened.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
They weren't super friendly the whole time. But they are very smart people, and they understand the situation, and they understand what happened, I think.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
So I pled guilty, because I mean, I am guilty in some respects, which I'm just owning the whole situation. But yeah, no, I took responsibility for a lot of it, and I didn't trust a jury to come down the right way. So I would have faced probably a lot more charges. charges had I taken to trial. So I just decided, you know what, let's just cut our losses. And I'm not 100% innocent. So let's go.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
They're mafia. They're real mafia.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
I'm just tired of waiting. I can't get a good job right now because of the situation. There's no way. I'm trying to start some businesses with some people who love me to death, which is great, but I can't actually pull the trigger on anything until this is over. I can't. So I just want to get on with life, and this is just stalling.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
Okay, so essentially like this was never my intention. The outcome is not my intention. I didn't start this whole idea with this plan to do what happened. I actually had a legitimate company and I wanted to actually make money for everybody and support my lifestyle.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
It was because I lost on the first couple loans that I decided let's use a different method to get the money back and the interest and... So I tried the method. It started working great. It was wonderful. I paid back Laurent several times. So I made a wrong decision because I was so desperate to fix a situation. Like I never in a million years would think to hurt somebody that way.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
Lady Mafia | 6. The Moment of Impact
I would say that I'm a lot more shrewd. I don't, I'm not going to give into anybody's pleasantness or, you know, being my friend. I don't care if you're a friend or whatnot. It's business is business is my new attitude. Before I tried to make the whole world happy and everyone, you know, win-win. And now I'm just worried about me winning. And that's the truth.
The Binge Crimes: Finding Mom's Killer
