And also, like, speaking of freedom, like, I really wanted to
feel as though I had the freedom to make the kinds of projects I wanted to make.
And I thought, okay, how do I build a career that facilitates that?
And part of that was knowing, okay, I need to not get typecast as just an indie drama director.
I need to also pursue these other genres that I love, like horror, like comic book movies.
I really wanted to do those things, not just because I love them, but because I also was thinking about how to build a career that
sustained and that could eventually allow me to make original films that were bigger scale.
So yeah, I definitely have this feeling of like, I don't know how long this will last.
I mean, the great thing about making a Marvel film is, like, the relationship between the amount of work and how huge the movie is is directly proportionate to how much help you get.
And so, you know, the first thing they tell you to do is they're like, call the other directors.
They'll tell you what it's like.
But then you also have like an amazing crew.
Like everyone wants to make a Marvel film.
So you get like the best of the best helping you through the experience.
And that includes, you know, my executive.
