I am considering all legal options because I don't believe that this censure is constitutional. Mainers absolutely align with 80% of Americans who do not believe that biological males should be participating in female sports. It's not fair and Mainers understand that. I have been hearing from hundreds and hundreds of Maine people who are fired up. Some didn't know this was going on.
Some did, but didn't know what they could do. And man, they are ready to take action and speak up for our girls.
While I would like to see Governor Mills and the Democrat majority do the right thing, I don't believe that they will. I'm grateful to see the Trump administration taking action on behalf of Maine girls.
I would not be surprised to see it become law, but I think the Democrats can expect a reckoning at the polls in 2026 if they continue to push this radical left-wing agenda.
This championship was not just another competition. It was a stark reminder of how Augusta Democrats... utterly failed to protect Maine girls, young female athletes who have trained four years to compete on a level playing field are now being forced to step aside while biological males claim titles and scholarships meant for them. If we do not speak up, who will?
Absolutely. So we all know that several weeks ago, President Trump issued his executive order demanding that states not allow biological males to participate in girls' sports. Maine has decided to buck that. The Maine Principals Association shortly thereafter came out and went on the record saying, we will not abide by this executive order.
We are going to continue to allow biological males to participate in girls' sports. And we knew it was only a matter of time before that actually happened after that. And that was this Monday. This biological male, a boy, participated in the pole vaulting at the state championships. And and won and captured the podium that so many Maine girls have been working so hard to compete in.
It just is tragic for them. And it's not fair. It's not fair for Maine girls who've been working so hard to have their chance taken away.
I have not heard that concern from the Democrat leadership. And let's be honest, we have a Democrat majority in the House, the Senate and a Democrat governor. So I think it's going to come down to that, that President Trump's administration is going to have to take action and withhold resources, financial resources in order to ensure that that girls in Maine have a fair playing field.
And it's too bad that it has to come to that, that it would have to come to federal action. But I think that's the only thing that will get us resolution here. The Maine Principals Association and Democrat leadership are pretty dug in on their position on this, and it's going to take intervention.
This was a state championship. So this was the class B championship for indoor track. And so this is statewide. Zoe can correct me if that's incorrect, but This is a statewide competition. These athletes that score the highest will now go on to regional competition outside of Maine.
And so this athlete, the biological male who participated in one, the girls gold medal, will go on to participate nationally. In the regional meets coming up, again, taking the spot of biological girls, females who've worked so hard but have been denied that first place standing because of this boy taking their place.
Maine Democrats censured me because I posted pictures of a minor. The state championship is a public event. The individual in question determined of his own free will to participate, and his photos are posted publicly on multiple websites. He was even publicly photographed holding a sign that said state champ.
I'm not doing any interviews tonight with the main wire. Please leave.
No, I'm tired. It's been very long.
