So the Burning Blade Tavern is built underneath a periodically still burning windmill. This is kind of the lodge and the hangout for the monster hunters when they're done with a long day of hunting monsters. So they can expect when they order a drink here to try something that is part of this world, that belongs in this world, and we do that a couple of different ways.

We have certain drinks where we do very direct references to various movies and other properties. For instance, monocaine is a reference to the secret ingredient in the Invisible Man's potion that makes him invisible and also quite insane. I think our darkthorn mead is a really important one.

So this is a Florida-made session mead flavored with boysenberry, blackcurrant, and pink peppercorns, which kind of take that fruity, bright flavor profile, bring it back, make it a little spicy, a little smoky. There's even like a roasted mead element to the pink peppercorn.
