Gotcha. So AA would be a good thing. AA would be a thing that God brought me to.
The gospel says, do not lean on your own understanding because think about this. Like, okay, here's one. We will look at somebody that's doing something vile or in a state where a group of people are doing something. To them, it's normal. But to us, we're like, yo, what's wrong with you? But from their perspective, they don't see it as wrong. From their understanding, they're like, this is life.

Get with it or get going. Sure. From us, we're like, no, no, no. That's morally wrong. What's the difference between us is just a perspective. So if you remove your perspective and give it to God, God will give you the best perspective. So that was what humbled me is I could sit down with so many people and I tell them like, bro, I'm not a teacher. I'm just a student. I'm learning.

But I learned from God and I learned from the scriptures because he even says that nothing that I'm going through is uncommon to man. So 2,000 years ago, King David was dealing with what I'm dealing with. Not in a boastful way, but he's talking about lust. You can have everything, but you could also throw everything away if you're too greedy.

There's two types of men in God's eyes, the one who is grateful and praises God or the one that curses and wants more. And so like that's uncommon. I mean, that's very common. It's not uncommon. So these little practices that I had to adjust in my life, taught me I have to be careful who I surround myself with. I was just with my mentor, and we were at his house, and he's very, very blessed.

And on his properties are many, many acres, and he took me to the part of his ranch where he has a bunch of sheep, and he put me with a bunch of lamb. And I was playing with this lamb, and he was reciting Bible verses to me. Because King David was a shepherd. So he was shepherd over sheep. And the Bible really jumped out.

And I was like, man, these words, they have so much weight to them when you put them to the test. And I think a lot of people read them and they don't put them to the test. And so when I'm sitting here looking at a lamb. And Jesus is called the lamb of man because when they crucified him, he didn't fight them.

So he goes, if you grab this lamb right now to cut it and to smear it on the wall, like Passover, the lamb will not fight you. It will look at you like, okay, like this is what you want me to do. I'll do it for you. but I don't want you to slaughter me. And you look at the lamb's eyes while you're putting the blade to its neck. And it's so loving to you that it's willingly giving its life to you.
