The ship was sailing in very bad weather conditions. When the wind stopped, the crew discovered that the left anchor had fallen and it had been dragging on the sea floor. It's possible the ship caused that problem with the cable. But in my opinion, there's absolutely no way that we're talking about an act of sabotage by our crew.
