We provide nine train lines covering 195 kilometers of track between 180 stations in Tokyo. It's a dense network and we carry 6.86 million passengers every day. To operate all the trains on time, we try not to let them stop at stations for longer than scheduled. Each line has a committee to tackle possible delays. For example, we ring a bell to inform passengers that the door is about to close.
