British producer Tom Middleton, of global communications fame, disappeared from music in 2003. Turns out he just joined a silent Buddhist monastery in Nepal for five years. When he returned, he released a concept album titled Samasara Baseline, a binaural techno record intended to guide listeners through the stages of awakening.
