So police quickly made their way over to the home, only to discover that Matthew, the son, had completely fled. It didn't take police long to track him down, though. They ended up spotting him fleeing in an SUV. So in an attempt to try and lose the police, he was driving very, very erratically. And it didn't take long before he lost control of the vehicle and then crashed into a tree.

His name was Matthew Zoll, and he was a 23-year-old guy from a nearby town. Now let's just rewind a little bit, okay? Back in November of 2024, Matthew allegedly stabbed and killed his father, Joseph, in a very brutal attack. And before his father, Joseph, had succumbed to his injuries, he managed to call 911 and tell them that his own son, Matthew, was the one who stabbed him.
