And so I was very wrong about what a ball entails. Because in my head, I had imagined that a ball was an event. where dancing was kind of the main activity. It was what you did there. I thought it would be 95% of what you did. I thought that's what a ball was. And it turns out, and I'm relieved by this, that balls are not even 1% dancing. Nobody dances. There's like no dancing that happens at all.
