There's no evidence that the fire department's push for diversity has any effect on its ability to fight fires. It's a line that made me realize we need to do another deep dive on DEI and the Los Angeles Fire Department because it's completely false. But of course, a lot of people on the left are repeating it. And they're repeating this line because they think it's safe.
