Well, it's worth pointing out what the rule really was or is that they point out in the Pragmatic Programmer book. And the repetition is not about code. That's where we all get it wrong. Anytime you're repeating code, it's bad. So don't repeat yourself. So let's create a function, name it, etc. Abstract a function. What they were talking about is knowledge in your system.
