Paul says, if anyone refuses to obey what we say in this letter, note that man and have nothing to do with him that he may be ashamed. So it's really important that they take heed of what St. Paul is saying. And yet his last words essentially are, At the same time, do not look on him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother, which is absolutely key, obviously, to not treat each other like enemies.
