Yeah, but that was during prohibition of the entire country, not just here. I mean, I assume you just would have stayed out of Oak Park if you want to run booze. So when the village was incorporated, no alcohol was allowed to be sold within the village limits. And this wasn't relaxed until 1973. God damn. A little late. Yeah, post-Woodstock.
