Oh, absolutely. And you think of this in terms of the cup of God's wrath. There's probably not a biblical phrase that is full of more drama than that phrase. And when we think of Christ's death for us, we must realize that Christ endured the cup of God's wrath. And all that says about us and our sinfulness and all that says about the necessity of Christ, it's just a wonderful story.
