I don't understand the story, I'm not so familiar with the director, but I understand that he's a guy who really liked terror. He had a big fan base, a terror community, terror fans, who said I want to make a movie and he did a crowdfunding and they put money in all his fans and then he did Terrifying 1 and he did so well that he already did the 2 and now the 3.
